Thursday, August 7th:
*Status Hearing (@ 9:30am ET) - FL - Jared Galen Bridegan (33), father of 4 ambushed & killed (shot 4 times), his 2-year-old daughter was just feet away in the back seat, Jacksonville Beach, Feb. 16, 2022. *Henry Arthur Tenon (61/now 64) arrested (1/25/23) & charged (1/26/23) & arraigned (2/16/23) with conspiracy to commit murder in the 1st degree, 2nd degree murder with a weapon, accessory to the fact to a capital felony & child abuse. Plead not guilty. Held without bond (murder) & $1.5M (other counts). Duval County
In Tenon's court file "on or between 1/4/22 & 2/16/22, in the county of Duval & the State of Florida, did agree, conspire, combine or confederate with other human beings to, unlawfully and from a premeditated design, effect the death of Bridegan."
Trial was set to begin on 7/19/23 was cancelled, Tenon plead guilty (3/16/23) to 2nd degree murder. Sentencing hearing on 6/14/23 was vacated & rescheduled on 7/12/23 & was vacated.
2nd case ID #16-2022-CF-008168-AXXX-MA for Driving while license suspended or revoked-Felony & unlawful speed (requires speed). Hearings running concurrent with murder case.

4/15/25 Update: Judge London M. Kite presiding. Assistant State attorney Christina Simak Stifler & assistant public defender Alan Chippenfield (for murder) & assistant public defender Matthew-Barreet Hoover Bodie (for license) & defendant present in jail. Nelson-inquiry, withdrawn by defendant. Tenon answered questions from Judge London Kite as he appeared for a status hearing at the Duval County Courthouse with his Assistant Public Defender Alan Chipperfield. Tenon confessed to being the trigger man in the 2022 Jared Bridegan murder-for-hire case in Jacksonville Beach. He's already pleaded guilty to being the triggerman & is supposed to testify against Saldana & potentially against estranged wife Gardner, the other two charged as the co-conspirators in Gardner's ex-husband's ambush shooting. Assistant State Attorney Christina Stifler also attended the hearing. The judge was concerned that Chipperfield was on the state's witness list. Tenon was in court to reassure the judge he is satisfied with his legal services to move forward. Next status hearing on 6/17/25 @ 9am.

7/1/25 Update: The records show that on July 1, Henry Tenon’s public defender, Alan Chipperfield, filed a certificate of conflict, selecting the reason for the conflict as miscellaneous. The Office of Regional Conflict Counsel stepped in to represent Tenon. The judge approved the switch at a court hearing on Monday.
7/2/25 Docket updates: Motion hearing on 7/7/25 was cancelled. Regional conflict counsel response-accept. Notice of appearance of Joshua J. Goldsborough. Notice of Discovery & specific demand for information. Notification of attorney conflict. 7/3/25 Update: Hearing held with Judge London Kite presiding. Parties present: Asst. State attorney Christina Simak Stifler, Asst. public defender Matthew Barrett Hoover Bodies. Public defender permitted to withdraw as counsel for defense. Attorney for defendant is now Joshua I.
