Kameela Russell is seen driving up to and entering Ernest Joseph Robert's home.
She is not seen leaving. Robert's is seen retrieving 2 black bags from the trunk of his car and taking them into the house. Next he gets in and backs up Russel's car, probably putting her body in the car (opinion), then driving off to the canal, (opinion). Chilling

I've read all of the available articles, and none of them even hint at a motive. The crime appears to be pre-meditated however, with the perpetrator luring her to his home and shutting off the security system. But he couldn't shut off the neighbor's security system, which caught him red-handed. D'oh!

What motive could he possibly have? He has known her since childhood and is godfather to her children. It makes no sense.

RIP Kameela and my sincere condolences to her family and friends.
 
So sad, and baffling. I would guess the motive relates either to sex or money.

They are friends from childhood and he's the godfather of her kids... would he benefit at all financially from her death?

Did "something" happen between them fairly recently? one article said he was transferred to another school because relatives can't work at the same school together... but they aren't relatives. Could there be another reason for the transfer, like an affair? It appears he was married, but divorced last year.

Seems like she must have gotten a text or something from him when she was about to pick up her daughter... she backed out of the driveway and went to his house. Why? What could he have said that was so compelling?

I’m thinking territory and respect? A hatred that formed from loving someone and then they betray you- I do think it has quite a lot to do with her getting a job where he worked and then he was the one forced to move on.. if she ever questioned him or brought any doubt of his ethics or strengths up in their workplace... revenge is kinda what I’m feeling.

I just tried googling this trial, but just coming up with articles from August....
