With the help of Kelleys' boyfriend WTAF gave some really good information on the circumstances of her disappearance that will help us in searching for clues.

I wonder where he searched for her over several days. If she got into a strange car with a "dangerous person" how would he know where to start searching? I hope LE pings some phones.

...her boyfriend tells WCTV the last word he got from her was a cryptic midnight message.

“Oh, I’m getting in a car right now. Goodbye.”

Those are the last known words of Brannon.

Her boyfriend, E. E., says they had stopped at the motel on their way through the area, but Brannon took off on foot around midnight after an argument. She has no wallet, no money and no I.D.; only a guitar and cell phone.

He believes those words, “I’m getting in a car,” may be clues to where she is.

“I think she, I think she jumped in a car with a dangerous person,” Emerson said via video call. “I hope she’s just ignoring everybody. I hope she’s but, but she’s got no money. What else is she going to do? I’m pretty sure she jumped in a car with a dangerous person.”

As far as we know, Emerson was the last person with Brannon, but insists he had nothing to do with her disappearance.

Emerson says he searched for several days, filed the missing person report, called local businesses and put up flyers with her picture on it before going home to his family in Massachusetts.

It sounds bizarre that the police do not want her location to be released if someone sees her, want only to divulged to them!! Makes me think law enforcement has some kind of idea about this lady. Also, the family mentioning she is self sufficient... I wonder if she could have some type of impairment?

I wasn't sure if not releasing her location was a typical thing that law enforcement requests in missing person cases or not. As for her having some sort of impairment I do beleive I remember the boyfriend saying in the interview that she has PTSD. I will go back and listen to the interview again just to double check that fact.

The first interview the BF did with WTAF they play the audio of her last voicemail she left him the night she disappeared. In that voicemail she says "I'm getting into a car now"

Circumstances of Disappearance
Kelley Brannon was at the Sunshine Inn in Live Oak Florida on july 14th 2020. She and her boy friend were traveling on I-75 on or about July 09th when they had vehicle trouble and were forced to stay in Live Oak, awaiting vehicle repair. During the evening hours of July 14th, after an ongoing argument between the two, Kelley left a voice mail stating that she was "getting in a car." The voice mail was left at 0059 hours on the 15th of July. Some witnesses at the hotel stated that Kelley was seen walking away from the hotel on US Highway 90 headed East. She was stated to have had her guitar in a case over her shoulder as she walked away. This was reportedly around the same time frame that she left the phone message. Kelley had her cell phone but left behind all other possessions including currency and identification. Security video from the hotel has been reviewed. Although several vehicles enter and depart the parking lot it is unknown if Kelley may have entered any of these vehicles. She has not been in contact with close friends or family members since that time, which has been described as not normal behavior for Kelley.

Circumstance Notes
from duplicate entry: According to her boyfriend, he woke to find her gone from the Sunshine Inn. His cell showed a call from her in a message on his phone that she was getting in a car at exactly 12:59 am Wednesday, July 15th. It is his suspicion that this was a silver Honda Civic 2 door with tinted windows because he heard from some locals about a car that tries to pick up women on the side of the road and also there is video, according to him, of a car matching that general description pulling out of the motel at the same time.

I would think that LE would have reviewed all available video from around that time but definitely makes me wonder about who was in that car if they are known for trying to pick up women. They should have put a warning out for that car as a person of interest just because they might have seen her even if they didn't pick her up they may have seen something important.

Thanks, @YaYa_521 ! My point was that there is no evidence that she got into a car. It has only been assumed that that happened. Some people said they saw her walking east. So, it's not true that she was seen getting in a car. No one saw that, and there is no video of that AFAIK. Which is too bad, obviously. I just think we need to be careful what we assert to be true vs. what people said might have happened.

“I’m not going to give up hope until we get some answers:” Search continues for missing woman

Officials with the Live Oak Police Department say Brannon’s case is still open, and she has not been heard from since July 14. Authorities have been in contact with agencies all across the region, going as far as Albany, Georgia. Officials say they continue following up with those were known to be at the Inn the night she went missing, but so far there are no leads.

Emerson is working on organizing a volunteer search around Live Oak. Anyone interested in participating is encouraged to contact the organizer’s facebook page.
