Okay - Aleman, Kristen has a TON of new stuff on the court site for her. So instead of posting ALL that stuff - here's a few notes that I took.

1/28/20 Update: Had motions hearing. Next motions hearing on 2/14/20. Next motions hearing on 3/9/20. Motion to sever. 2/28 arraignment was rescheduled for 3/9 @ 1:30pm. 2/20/20: Motion to permit a juror questionnaire, motion to preclude the State from relying upon the "Great risk of death to many people" aggravating factor, order denying emergency motion for ex-parte, in camera hearing & motion to seal testimony & records related to hearing. Amended indictment: first degree murder, aggravated child abuse & cruelty to animals. 2/24/20: Motion for court to order the defendant to participate in an evaluation as to her sanity at the time of charged offense. 2/26/20: Motion to prevent the State from accessing criminal history info of Venire members & motion defendant's challenge to the jury panel & motion to declare FL. Statute 40.013 unconstitutional & motion statement of particular re aggravating factors & motion to declare (felony murder automatic aggravator) unconstitutional. Motion for defense to Voir Dire the jury panel first. 2/27/20: Motion to exclude cumulative expert testimony & motion to dismiss & motion to disclose instructions to the Grand Jury. 2/28/20: Motion-granted re to appoint expert.


They amended the indictment so she will have another arraignment date on 3/9.
