IDK...I certainly don't feel close to the truth. I feel confused and frustrated. There must be something about this case that makes it different from others if the police don't want posters put up and media involvement. The only answer to that I can come up with is that they know what happened and are working on it. I sure do hope that's the case and that no harm has come or will come to Taylor in the meantime.

Taylor has visited NOLA in recent months. TW has been to NOLA with her GF 3 times in the past 3 months but has no friends there as far as GF knows. TW also previously spent time in Biloxi in the past, playing poker. She played World Series of Poker in 2007 (AbuDrake post#105 & #178, #556, Thread1 & VI Fleurde post#720, Thread1).

Taylor is unlikely to travel or leave the country and has never traveled outside the US. She has no foreign language skills. It is unknown where her passport is located. (AbuDrake posts #84, #105 & #178, Thread1)

FAQ's: The following are questions that have been answered with conflicting answers from different sources OR the answer is very complex

The following info MAY on MAY NOT be relevant. If there is any doubt as to what the VIs have said, please see the post numbers indicated. Remember the WS rules for Verified Insiders state that it is up to you to decide which source(s) you believe. Please be respectful of both VI’s statements even if they conflict with each other. Posts #711 and #715 of thread 1 are informative posts as to how AbuDrake and Fleude view each other and their memories of events.

Was Taylor carrying a gun when she went missing?

Taylor may be armed; Taylor’s ex claims she usually carried 2 guns on her- A G42 and G17 one in an appendix holder and one at her ankle (VI AbuDrake post #107 & #556)

Taylor’s GF claims TW rarely carried a gun, she did not carry a purse to conceal one; GF has NEVER seen TW carry a gun at her ankle in the 6 months they have been together (Fleurde post # 791 & #839 Thread1)

When did Taylor last see her son/take her son to her mother’s house?

A neighbor on Berkley Drive in Pensacola claims to have seen Taylor and her son playing outside prior to her going missing (WEARTV News) and the same news source reported she visited her mother with her son one week prior to going missing.

However, BOTH VI s clarified that the statements about TW’s son are a misreport by the news or misunderstanding of the neighbor. Taylor has NOT seen her son since mid-August. Her son lives with his father in NC and TW lives in FL. (AbuDrake post#214, #291, Thread1 & Fleurde post #697, Thread1)

When did Taylor move in with her GF?

Aug 2017 – Taylor’s ex says she moved in with her current GF abt 5 weeks before going missing (AbuDrake posts #127 & #198, Thread1)

Abt 1 Sept 2017 – Taylor’s GF says she moved in with her GF one week prior to going missing. (Fleurde post #694, Thread1)

Who had legal custody or their son when Taylor went missing? Was custody finalized by the courts?

Taylor voluntarily gave custody of her son to her ex in the divorce in 2016; Taylor allowed her son to move to NC with his father and the Guardian At Litem commended her for this decision (AbuDrake post #47 & #218, Thread1).

Taylor was fighting to regain custody of her son just prior to going missing. She had put down a retainer for a lawyer to fight for custody. Taylor was also appealing the ordered child support amount; Appeal initially denied because TW and ex had not yet separated HHG. HHG still were not divided when TW went missing (AbuDrake post#218, Fleurde post #774, #852, & 987, Thread1)

The following summary statement is from a June 2017 divorce court decision:

“ORDER VACATING EMERGENCY EX PARTE ORDER FREEZING BANK ACCOUNT AND ORDER DIRECTING PARTIES TO DISTRIBUTE THE BANK ACCOUNT AS ORDERED IN TEH SUPPLEMENTAL FINAL JUDGMENT OF DISSOLUTION OF MARRIAGE” (Okaloosaclerk.com)
The VI’s have given differing accounts of what this summary line means for the money that Taylor withdrew in June. Both VI’s agree that she withdrew $100,000 from her account in June 2017.

Taylor’s ex claims about $30,000 of $100,000 withdrawn belongs to him; TW was also ordered to pay $4200 in retroactive child support and $600 a month thereafter. TW was also ordered to transfer $25k of the $100k she withdrew in an escrow account to cover real estate expenses. (AbuDrake posts #106, #158, #294 & #556, Thread1).

Taylor’s GF claims the $100,000 was award in Taylor’s column in the marriage dissolution. "When it was unfrozen, TW had legal right to it. Step 2 from the court ordered her to pay to help them sell a mutual property." Any taxes to be paid, would have to be done for the 2017 tax year, which is filed in 2018. (Fleurde posts # 814, #982, #984 Thread1)

Was Taylor Hiding her income and/or assets?

Taylor’s ex states: “She is very secretive about her work, and who she works for. As the divorce case documents note, she didn't disclose employment records as ordered, had large amounts of unexplained income, hidden bank accounts, and was deceptive and evasive about where the money came from.” (AbuDrake post #79)

Taylor had testified she had been volunteering at gun shows for the past year and she was not paid for that; her ex disputes and suspects she was getting paid under the table; GF says TW was selling tactical apparel (belts, holsters, etc) at the gun shows (AbuDrake post#110 & #364, Thread1; Fleurde post # 791, Thread1)

    Did Taylor commit insurance fraud?

Taylor allegedly filed a “$24k fraudulent insurance claim” in her husband’s name with the military; The claim was filed after the couple moved to Florida and was a claim for replacement of furniture damaged/missing in the move. No charges were ever filed for this claim. (AbuDrake posts #110 & 144, Thread1)

Did Taylor have an affair while married?

Taylor’s ex claims she had an extramarital affair in Feb 2015. Taylor denied any affair. Her ex moved out of their house in March 2015 and the other woman moved into their house in April 2015. Taylor allegedly lost that rental house due to arguments with the other woman requiring police/EMA intervention (VI AbuDrake posts # 145 & 176).

Above is the timeline. I did my best to compile all of the information we have from our 2 VI's without bias towards either and I attempted to state the facts as they have stated them themselves. I'm only human, however, and I may have gotten something wrong. If you think I have misinterpreted or misrepresented any of the information, or I got a post number wrong, PLEASE let me know and I will correct it in future timelines. As ALL timelines, some information is fluid and will change as we get more sources (either media sources or new VI's). This is meant to be used as a resource to quickly reference information and to see events in context. Thank you to AbuDrake and Fleurde for all the insider info they have shared.

Am I correct in remembering that posts from both of our VIs made prior to becoming verified were removed? Are those restored once verification is complete, or are they gone forever?

I have no doubt at all that your heart is absolutely in the right place when you ask this. None whatsoever.

But I can't let this go unchallenged.

I would not advise fleurde, or AbuDrake, to release any medical information about Taylor to the general public.

If there are any pertinent reasons why her health records could be a factor in her disappearance, that information should be shared with LE only. LE can then make further decisions, based on their own legal counsel.

For fleurde, or AbuDrake, to take it upon themselves to share that information with the public could be a volatile legal landmine.

We may feel it would be helpful to know Taylor's medical history, including any past or present medications. Maybe in the grand scheme, it would.

However, there's good reasons why laws have been passed to protect the privacy of our medical records.

I wouldn't think of touching that topic without legal advice before proceeding. To be honest, I wouldn't think of touching it at all.

I don't expect this to be a popular response, or what anyone would want to hear, but the right to privacy of our medical records is considered bedrock fundamental.

I would not violate that right without a warrant or court order forcing me to do so.

Would some of the veteran WS members help me understand please?

I thought this was how WS works:

    1. The media reports a missing person
    2. Someone on WS starts a thread for that person
    3. Members lay out all the facts known from LE, MSM, and (if we are lucky) VIs
    4. Members make timelines (kudos Gardener) and maps
    5. We throw out all manner of ideas/theories of what happened (regardless of how wild or unrealistic they are)
    6. We offer to help organize/participate in searches or give any other support we can to help the case
    7. Then we wait for LE or MSM to update us

I get the sense from my short time on this forum that most of the members’ purpose here is to throw out their theory just to see if, after the missing has been found, their theory was right. Not necessarily to do “WebSleuthing” or “solve the case”. Even if someone was 100% right with their theory from the beginning, LE most likely is not monitoring WS. Right?

A lot of members post things that are not directly helpful in progressing the case, just their opinion on what happened. I am not saying that these posts don’t have merit, because theories could trigger new ideas and a VI could bring those ideas to a PI or to LE and it could invigorate the investigation. Some posts are just not helpful in any way whatsoever, like “I have a bad feeling…”. So, I understand how a VI could get frustrated with some of the comments.

But If you say, “I have a feeling that X, Y, and Z happened.” Then others could think “hmm…X and Y are ridiculous but Z could have happened. I’m going to dig around and actually sleuth on item Z.” Maybe something will come of it, maybe not.

However, and this is my point of posting, do we (WS’ers) really think that we can/will solve a missing persons case? How many times has that happened? As a percentage of total missing persons cases posted on this site, my guess is that the percentage is infinitesimally small (correct me please- I’m still new)

I personally feel like the best help WS provides to these types of cases is to help search, put up posters, put out online flyers, and get more media attention across the country. This is the true way WS helps these cases, not by figuring things out that LE couldn’t…

That’s why I don’t understand why, in this case, they don’t want to do any of that.

This isn’t FB or some other site where people post intentionally hurtful things. We have TOS and fantastic moderators that, for the most part, keep jerks from posting rude or intentionally insensitive things. However, if members can’t search or put up flyers (who said that in this case?) and don’t throw out ALL scenarios, I don’t see how WS could be of any help at all…

Maybe fluerde had other expectations and didn’t understand how WS works?

Maybe I don’t understand the point of WS either?

    Sorry.

I really do feel for the VIs in this case and hope that TW returns home soon.

If TW does not show up again to court, there will be no appeal. If the cashiers checks are not cashed, after a certain passage of time they will be reissued, and paid to whom they are owed per the court's orders. If she never reappears, after a certain period of time, she can be declared deceased. (IMO)

Hi bsarlo, I think a lot of what you say is true. However, I think LE DOES often read here. When I google "Taylor Ashley Wright" Websleuths is the 3rd link that comes up. I think the majority of posters here would not continue to post if they thought their posts made no difference. Even a generic "doesn't look good" post bumps the thread up and potentially gets it more attention. Getting more attention for a thread gets more attention for a missing person. No one person may solve a case simply by posting here but any little thing could trigger a tip or a lead. You just never know. JMO.

She may not have made a will yet, but I'm willing to bet she does have a life insurance policy. (Just my opinion, though) Not to be morbid, but at what point can a missing person be declared "deceased"? Probably varies by state? Be interested to know. I guess I need to check into it instead of making you do all the work. :blushing:

O.K. Looks like after 5 years in Florida.
