FL FL - Tiffany Heaven Daniels, 25, Pensacola State College, 12 Aug 2013

We have covered about all the possible scenarios on this one. If we knew what LE knew, we might be in a better position.

It would be helpful if a family member were to join and post additional detailed information and answer questions. It would help us cull the theory list a bit.

I am stuck on the box of cloths and if she ever made it to her XBF's apartment or not to pick them up and if that was the reason she left work early.

Me too, Tracker. That has bothered me since the beginning. I am really hoping LE has something and is close to breaking this case open, but the longer I spend on this site the more I am finding these cases take a long time to resolve (if they resolve).

I'm about ready to find some sort of concealable GPS tracker for all my loved ones...

Yes, LE certainly must know more.... experienced detectives interviewing those close to her and where she worked... checking into her social media activities...

Hope family is asking questions about these things...

I wonder if her family knows about WS?

Perhaps one of our local members would be kind enough to invite them to join?

Tracker, and anyone else who has been around WS longer than me,

Why do you think some cases get more attention than others. There is some similarity between this case and Bryce Lapisa, but that thread is going on thread 9 or some such with little new information.

In his case he was behaving strangely, etc, before disappearing ... While Tiffany was acting normally. maybe it is the sense that he may have disappeared on his own free will while Tiffanys case is harder to crack? But here with Tiffany's case again we have a missing young person with an abandoned SUV and very few leads. Frustrating.

I woke up thinking about Tiffany this morning. :-( I wish the police would put out a timeline and statement. I have two thoughts. She didn't drive her car out there. Someone else did then they hopped on the bus. Or someone camping at Ft Pickens grabbed her and she left in a camper. People who live in the condo across the street from where her SUV was found as well as the person who cleans the lot said her vehicle had not been there the whole time. So I am going with the second one. Bad thing there is no way to track those people and really I have no confidence in them. I think I would get a private detective
The lack of attention in this case lands on the shoulders of weartv3 and Pensacola News Journal pnj.com. Basically they suck when it comes to local news or news in general. IMHO feel free to email or go on their Facebook page and ask questions so I won't feel so alone lol

BBM - why, oh why.... the Holly Bobo case is good example of one that got lots, lots of attention. The state's gov even got involved in posting a large reward for her...
Seems young attractive female cases get attention... Young mothers get allot of attention too, as does having good job helps, having lots of friends also...

Having a powerful family - with money or media/gov connections is a big factor. If a case gets picked up for a television crime show does allot too.

Then then there are exceptions - like the Robert Mayer case; got lots of attention here at least... 10 thread before being closed down... (link to one of them):

Media likes a spin with new information....if LE would give some detail that is new maybe it will televised....
Can't say we have had a good timeline given from LE either. Grrrrrr

Where Is Tiffany Heaven Daniels?

I hope someone is not getting away with murder!

Dear God....Please Bring Tiffany Home!

Good question. I've been around WS for quite awhile, and this has always puzzled me as well. My thoughts are, if the media doesn't stay on the story, public interest seems to dwindle. And as someone said, if the case gets the attention of national crime news shows, that helps as well.

Some LE are reluctant to share what details they know with the public, perhaps because the family requests it, or because they don't want to jeapordize the case, or they just don't know enough, while others will be very forthcoming with information. It depends on the case itself, as well as the superiors who make those decisions.

Whichever, when very little new information is made available, and we here have nothing new to discuss, interest seems to die down a lot. Sometimes that happens very quickly in some cases.

Forgive me.. I am very far behind

About the clothing...it seems that the roommate is not sure exactly when the box of personal items went missing, just that they were no longer in his apartment two days after her disappearance. There was no box found in the car , or at least there has been no mention of a box in the car.

Does anyone know what items were picked up?
If she made the effort to go get her things, the box must have had items she wanted to keep.
If nobody knows what was in the box, how do they know she did not take them items home?

Was the key to the roommates apt. on her key chain or did she leave it at his apt?

Who would remove a box of clothing and leave the other things in an unlocked car?

Just read up on this case, and this is troublesome to me because of a couple things.

First and foremost, it was obviously important enough to mention in the first place. This information was bothering the person that brought the information to light. It seems it was brought to light because they felt it was important. If they feel it was important, then so do I.

Secondly, most people would open the box and pretty much know what is in the box. A box is one of those types of things that most people would open just out of sheer curiosity even if it was taped shut. Most people would open it and retape it back if it was taped shut. So as far as the contents I would guess whoever was in the apartment most likely know what was in the box.
So depending on how it was characterized about the contents would be important.

Im not clear if the Ex-BF had moved out or not prior to her disappearance. I dont think that is clear unless that has been determined. If he moved out, then that would mean that only her box was there and none of the ex-BF things were there. So, why didnt she get that box before he moved out then. Why all of a sudden would she go to retrieve this box if he was not even there, unless a roomate contacted her to do so.
I think this is what LE needs to determine because it may help them.

One thing I am fairly certain of. If he had long moved out, I doubt she would go there to get that box unless contacted to do so. That would be important it seems to find out.

For that matter, even if he was still living there, I doubt she would go there unless contacted to do so.

So, IMO if she went to pick up that box, I feel she was contacted to come get it.

I suppose we may not even know if she went there to get it. But then I go back to the first point. It was brought to light because it was important.

Anyway....just some thoughts while reading the thread.

The only other thought was the rumor about meeting someone to possibly sell paintings. That seems scary too.

I hope she is found.

Here is another way to realize why this box seems important. It was gone, right. Therefore, nobody would know at all that it even existed if it were not for the person to bring it to light. So, IMO, there is no doubt that the box seemed to be very important to this person. For whatever reason, it was bothering them.

From what I've seen, there is a major correlation between if the media is currently covering the case, and how active the discussion is on WS. As long as there is something new, people will discuss it. However, once the case is not being reported on daily/weekly in the media, discussion becomes extremely slow. There are a few cases that do manage to keep an active discussion despite the case not being in the media in a regular basis anymore, and new information not coming out. In those cases, I've noticed they have posters who only post about that specific case, which I think helps to keep them active.

I still feel the "Media" is staying away from this story because it may paint a "bad picture" of their perfect resort town.

MSM does not want to admit that something bad could/did happen to Tiffany.

My heart aches for her family!

Who else out there, knows something about all her activities on Aug. 12?

What happened to Tiffany Heaven Daniels after her SUV crossed the causeway (if she was really in it!)?

When did she disappear and who really saw her last (not just her co-workers)?

Where is the strange box, as well as Tiffany?

Why is she missing?

Dear God...Please Bring Tiffany Heaven Home!

I have to sadly agree with you on the media aspect. There have been several things that happen on the beach that do not get reported. I have lived here for 40+ years and wanted to add a few facts.
1. The route from the college to beach would have her go through downtown area, which I believe is where she lives. She easily could have picked up box and dropped it at home as well as if she didn't have her bike that also could have been picked up from home.
2. The weather that day was rainy and overcast which makes the beach less inhabited, esp on that end of the beach. Even during crowded spells that end is less traveled than casino beach and the area with bars and restaurants. Most people living on that end wouldn't be looking out windows on dreary day. I lived on that end for many years and it was a given you don't look out at the pretty beach on dreary days.
3.Time she left work a little before 5pm, with a few stops if she had errands would definitely put her at evening / sunset time frame. It would be an easy guess not many people on that end, an easier abduction.
4. I don't think the - she went for a swim and drowned theory as she would have surfaced long ago. The lifeguards and deputies patrol the shore on 4 wheelers so she would have been found. Also all the surfers, boaters in water would have seen her when she surfaced.
5.There are many wrong facts on the fort. there are many hidden bunkers and pits in that area. It is very wooded in those areas and not easy to get into. I know when I was little I fell in one. The forts go deep and have many drops where the ammunition bunkers are. They are also, I hate to say this, FULL of rattlesnakes and water moccasins in those areas. I don't know how much was searched in this area except by what I have been told by those that went out. The searchers I spoke with said there were many areas they couldn't get to that are closed down but as a single person or small group it is easy to sneak into.
6. The car thing still baffles me as I know the deputies usually will note vehicles left overnight and then put a warning on them prior to towing. Someone could have drove it over, or she could have and then been abducted, the abductor could have gone down the opposite way, east to Navarre and drove off the beach on Navarre side and brought it back without being seen as easily.
6. The reporting is not usually done unless people scream loudly and constantly. I know this as I was abducted in 1988 and it was not reported . Luckily I was able to get away and 2 elderly ladies allowed me to get in their car as they drove me to LE. I only reveal that as this does cut me to the bone on this disappearance and to let you know mine was not on any news. I am kind of thankful for that as I didn't want it reported to all of Pensacola.

This is just some information I thought maybe helpful. I sooo hope they find her safe for her and her family. It saddens me that with each day, week and month that hope fades.

I assume her bf's roommate mentioned the box of clothes because he learned she went missing in that time period, and believed there was evidence she had been to his place, since the box had been there a day before she went missing, and was gone the day after. It may be important, it may not, but he didn't know that, so he passed it on. Also, we don't know if the clothing was in her car, or if she took it home, or if it is "missing." I think there is a lot of focus on it mostly because it's one of the few details we have. But that doesn't mean it's actually important. We simply don't know enough.

I think LE knows who drove the car to the beach parking lot from fingerprints on the door handle and the steering wheel, or lack of fingerprints. If those places were wiped down--Tiffany didn't drive her car there. If the kidnapper/killer didn't wipe their fingerprints off the car because they were wearing gloves (unlikely in August's sweltering heat), wouldn't Tiffany's fingerprints be smeared or partially wiped away? IDK.

I had a difficult time accepting that her car was there for days.....LE knew she was missing and knew to look for her car yet it sat at the vacant parking lot at the end of the beach road that beach patrols used to return back toward the main beach area.

This still seems odd.

Does patrol cars run video all the time or do they turn it on when they wish to videotape.

Yes, you are right about her car sitting there all that time! Strange!

The "box of clothes" - or whatever was supposed to be in it... that is like you mentioned, "one of the few details we have". Since it fits into the timetable as the last thing she we are told she did - instinctively, I feel it plays a part in whatever happened to her.
