The Okaloosa County Sheriffs Office is searching for 25-year-old Vaughan Heppe, who is believed to be missing and endangered.
Vaughan, a Hood River, Oregon native, was last seen at 7 a.m. Monday at the Hilton Garden Inn on Miracle Strip Parkway, according to the OCSO.
Vaughan and his father, Stephen Heppe, both flew into the area on September 30.
The father said he left for a seminar at Eglin Air Force Base in the early morning Monday and, when he came back that afternoon, Vaughan was not there.
Vaughans cell phone, clothes and passport were still in the room, OCSO spokeswoman Michele Nicholson said.
The 25-year-old is described as a white male, 5-foot 6-inches, 160 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
