If any of you are low on food or trunk to stretch your supply, this is a great recipe
Best Loaded Slow-Cooker Potatoes Recipe-How To Make Loaded Slow-Cooker Potatoes—Delish.com
I guess I’m allowed to post it as I’ve seen a few other recipes and grocery lists.
Hopefully all of us will have freshly stocked stores soon. My next trip will be before 5a.m., I’ll go one morning when I wake early & feel like dealing with it.

Stuffed tomatoes!! My last set exploded, LOL. Seriously, they imploded, they were such a mess, I found out what I did wrong and always meant to make another batch, but I never did, lol. They were good, though! I mean they just kind of "popped," they were a mess, but a tasty mess.

It's fate, I gotta make another batch of stuffed tomatoes, LOL. I couldn't quote the posts cuz the thread's closed.

My Mom put green bell peppers and onions in everything. I hated both as a kid. Still hate the green bell peppers but love red, orange and yellow. But only raw. If I make stuffed peppers I only eat the filling. Same with stuffed cabbage.

Only eat carmelized onions to this day. Funny how some things stay with you for a lifetime, lol.

Whereas I like raw onion, especially red, but only tolerate capsicums if they're cooked to the point of melting.

Don't eat onion much these days, though, because partner is low FODMAP.

What's your favorite Halloween candy? I like Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, Jolly Ranchers, and Snicker's.

I like Reese's, but not the cups with the hard chocolate ridge edges. I like the smooth pieces shaped like ghosts and bats. Same for the other holidays. I like the Christmas tree shaped and easter egg shaped ones. There's something about those hard ridges that ruins it for me. The others just melt in my mouth. Weird, I know.

I love Reese’s, my favorite candy, but I like the eggs and pumpkins the best. They have a better peanut butter to chocolate ratio, IMO.

Should I put foil around the outside of the tomato to hold them together?

Halloween also happens to be our anniversary, so to celebrate, we hand out full sized candy bars. Costco had them $7.20 off a box if you bought them in August. So I bought two boxes of 30 - Snickers/Milky Way/Kit Kat/Peanut M&M's and plain. I've had to hide them well in the house so DH doesn't eat them before Halloween.

I'm sad the boxes do not include Reeses or Butterfingers though. Jolly ranchers in Sour Apple and Cherry are a real treat. My favorite is Chick-O-Sticks. I can only find them around Halloween. Still on the hunt for them, they tend to be regional in popularity. Anyone else heard of Chick-O-Sticks?

Well, Halloween isn't really a big deal in Australia, but I am absolutely stoked that they brought back the raspberry Mars bars they had a few years back. I'm buying at least half a dozen with every shopping order.

Yes. Love them. They were my favorite as a kid. I also loved those wax candy bottles with a miniscule amount of juice in them too, although I can't imagine why now!

Looks like Reese's is a clear winner.

I added Reese's bars last year to my Christmas goody baskets. I was hesitant about adding graham cracker crumbs, but it gave the same texture as the store bought version, who knew? Big hit, everyone wanted the recipe. I used milk chocolate chips, not dark. Truly is five minutes to put this together, chill time is the longest part.

As kids we used to like the wax lips too, that had the sweet liquid inside.

I’ve seen both the wax candy bottle and wax lips at retro candy stores and online but now they don’t look appealing at all.

I never want candy, but hearing about a raspberry Mars bar (which I've never seen), I now want candy, LOL
