"43 years old, this woman [Lucie Roux] was due to leave the psychiatric hospital of Bassens in the months to come. On September 16, 2012, "she took a taxi, went to a DIY store to buy a wooden board and nails," says Bernard Valézy of the ARPD. "Then she took a taxi again and was dropped off on the heights of Chambéry." She was never seen again. Her mother is doing everything to revive the investigation, adds the vice president of the association. "

This is strange. Why would she go by taxi and where? There is a DIY store almost at the end of the street where she lived (Rue Centrale 71, Bassens), would be a 15 minute walk.
Also there is a bus stop across the street if she wanted to go to Chambéry.

I've taken snips off the articles you all posted - here's Lucie revised:

Lucie Roux, 43, disappears on 16 September 2012 while residing in the psychiatric centre in Bassens in Chambéry (Savoie). She was treated from 2006 to 2012 at Bassens for depression and had 3 roommates. And it seems that Nordahl Lelandais was followed by the medical-psychological center of Chambéry from 2012 to 2013. The 43 years old, this woman [Lucie Roux] was due to leave the psychiatric hospital of Bassens in the months to come. On September 16, 2012, "she took a taxi, went to a DIY store to buy a wooden board and nails," says Bernard Valézy of the ARPD. "Then she took a taxi again and was dropped off on the heights of Chambéry." She was never seen again.
January, 2018 Request from family to investigate.
This week (4/21/18), the Roux family's lawyer, Me Christian Saint-André, wrote to the public prosecutor of Chambéry, Thierry Dran: "I was contacted by a friend of Lucie Roux. She says she's ready to testify to the investigators. According to her, Lucie had lunch several times before she disappeared, with another friend and Nordahl Lelandais. These meals would have been taken in a common area of the hospital." The lawyer considered the information serious enough to alert the court.

And so.... we still are :waiting: for a hearing date, eh?

and :tyou: all for the articles!

According to Éric Foray's partner, FRP, there might be another meeting of the families whose relatives disappeared set for April 27.

"This is a disturbing testimony, which could establish a direct link between Nordahl Lelandais and a young woman who mysteriously disappeared 6 years ago. Lucie Roux, 43, was hospitalized in Bassens psychiatric hospital (Savoie), in the suburbs of Chambéry, when she vanished on September 16, 2012. However, Nordahl Lelandais, who confessed to the killings of Maëlys and Corporal Arthur Noyer, was in the same institution for depression and alcoholism.

Following the media coverage of the "Lelandais affair," the lawyer for Lucie Roux's family, Maître Christian Saint-André, was contacted by an acquaintance of a former patient of the Bassens hospital, friend of the woman who had disappeared. "According to her, Lucie had lunch several times, before her disappearance, with a friend and Nordahl Lelandais. She says she is ready to give her testimony to the investigators," said the lawyer to Dauphiné Libéré.

This testimony thus suggests that Lelandais and Lucie Roux knew each other. Maître Christian de Saint-André decided to alert the district attorney of Chambéry. Lucie Roux' sister, who wishes to remain anonymous, is extremely troubled by this latest information. "My hope now is that the investigation is reopened. Because with this testimony that seems serious, we know that Lelandais and Lucie were in the psychiatric hospital at the same time. And that they had lunch together in a cafeteria of the establishment. And they talked to each other. A link is therefore confirmed between my sister and Nordahl Lelandais. They may have been friends. It adds horror to horror. A disappearance is already terrifying. But to link this disappearance with a man who killed a little girl and a young soldier, this frightens me. If it is Lelandais who is responsible, he should confess! We will then be able to find Lucie's body and mourn."

On Sunday, September 16, 2012, Lucie Roux, who was suffering from social phobia, left without her cell phone, her glasses, no money, just with a small backpack, as if she were going for a walk. Since then, there has been no movement in her bank account. Her body has never been found. "Initially, I first thought of an abduction by a prostitution ring. Because she was quite pretty," says the sister of the missing woman.

"Then I thought that Lucy may have committed suicide and hid somewhere to die, which would explain why her body was not found," she says. But today, with the Lelandais story, I see things differently. It's really a lot of coincidences. "It's scary," says Lucie's sister. I feel ambivalent feelings. We want to know it was him and find out what happened to my sister and we also do not want to know it was him, because we also refuse to think the worst.

While being hospitalized in the psychiatric hospital of Bassens, Lucie Roux lived outside the establishment, in a therapeutic apartment. Since her disappearance, this apartment has never been re-rented. The family of Lucie Roux think that clues concerning the disappearance can perhaps still be found there, six years after the disappearance of the young woman."

These are two entirely different versions, indeed they seems different disappearances.

If we go with the version of her sister, a suicide seems the most obvious explanation. Why leave your phone, glasses and money at home for a date with Nordahl Lelandais? Doesn't make sense.

DID LUCIE ROUX MEET WITH NORDAHL LELANDAIS?

She bought some wooden boards at a hardware store

"Last week, a lady contacted me to explain that one of her friends had had lunch several times at that time with Lucie Roux and Nordahl Lelandais in the hospital cafeteria," Christian Saint-André, the lawyer for the relatives of the missing woman, told 20 Minutes. "I immediately informed the public prosecutor of Chambéry so that checks may be carried out on these disturbing elements."

On September 16, 2012, Lucie Roux had not told her three roommates where she wanted to go. Equipped with a small backpack, she left without her mobile phone, papers or credit card. The investigation showed that the day before she went to a DIY store to buy plywood boards, nails and screws in cash before being taken by taxi to the Monts district in Chambéry. She had returned home in the evening without the equipment before disappearing the next day "between 4 and 7 pm".

"We know today that Nordahl Lelandais liked to go into the woods and build huts," explains Bernard Valézy, head of the association Assistance et recherche des personnes disparues (ARPD) in Lyon (Rhône), to 20 Minutes. If this testimony is true, it would be a very important element but it still needs to be verified."

Christian Saint-André asks for nothing else. In his letter to the public prosecutor of Chambéry, the lawyer explained that the lady who had contacted him was ready to testify before the magistrates. "I would also like the gendarmes to do some research on Nordahl Lelandais' computer and to interview Lucie Roux's three roommates, something that was never done. And especially that we check the entries and exits from the hospital."

Meanwhile, he supports Olga, the mother of the young woman who disappeared. "She feels tortured by these latest revelations. She has a very mixed feelings," he says. "On the one hand, she is pleased that the investigation into her daughter's disappearance continues, almost six years later. On the other hand, she fears that Nordahl Lelandais is behind all this..."

Contacted by 20 Minutes this Monday, the Chambéry prosecutor indicated that he would "no comment" on this case. After Nordahl Lelandais confessed to the death of little Maëlys and then Corporal Arthur Noyer, the gendarmes set up a special cell called Ariane to check if he could not be involved in other unexplained disappearances in recent years. They are currently working on some 20 files.

So Lucie Roux bought the wood the day before she disappeared, and she did not return home with her purchase.

The Site des Monts is a park, a nature area next to the north-east of Chambéry.
I have some difficulty imagining Nordahl Lelandais building a hut in a park - or a tree house. As a kid or a teenager, maybe. But in his late twenties?

Nevertheless, according to the video in the article:

Video: "..... Taxi that took her to the heights of Chambéry in a forest. That's where the investigators lost track of her."

NORDAHL LELANDAIS: WHAT WE KNOW ABOUT THE 11 MISSING PERSONS WHOSE FAMILIES MEET FRIDAY IN LYON

Europe1
https://www.lejdd.fr/societe/faits-...amilles-de-disparus-qui-se-mobilisent-3636497

On Friday, 11 families of missing persons will meet in Lyon to exchange information and try to make progress in the various investigations. All have a name in mind: that of Nordahl Lelandais, who confessed to the deaths of Maëlys and Corporal Noyer. Accidents, he said.

This is the second gathering of its kind. On Friday, eleven families of missing persons are meeting in Lyon to exchange information about their relatives and perhaps, they hope, make progress in the various investigations. A first meeting was organized on February 1st, in Lyon already, under the aegis of the association Assistance et recherche de personnes disparues (ARPD), of which these families are members. As nearly three months ago, all have a name in mind, that of Nordahl Lelandais. And all the more so since last February, the former soldier has confessed in two cases: on 14 February for Maëlys, and on 29 March for Corporal Arthur Noyer.

In both cases, the former handler mentioned accidents: an all-too violent slap given to the 8-year-old girl while she was on board his Audi A3; a fight that would have gotten out of hand in the case of Corporal Noyer. In these two cases, the results of the expert assessments - autopsies, analysis of the clothing found in the case of Maëlys, examination of the Audi A3 - are still pending. The families hope that they will finally allow them to know the precise conditions of the tragedies.

Eleven other families are still in limbo. "These families don't blame Lelandais, that's very clear. They simply want investigations to be made to close that door and to be reassured that everything has been done to find their missing loved ones," ARPD President Bernard Valézy explained last February. Because in some cases, the investigation has been closed.

Since the beginning of the year, however, several files have been reopened. Since January, a specific cell of the gendarmerie, called Ariane, has been working from Pontoise on the meticulous study of Nordahl Lelandais' life course as well as the examination of material evidence in the Maëlys and Noyer files. According to L'Obs, the former soldier's Audi A3 is still being analysed to try to find out more about the circumstances of the tragedy that claimed the lives of the little girl and the young corporal. The Ariane cell is also studying the former soldier's mobile phone to determine whether links can be established between missing persons and the presence of Nordahl Lelandais in a particular place and time.

The 11 families meet on Friday in Lyon in the hope of advancing the investigations

Here is what we know about the 11 missing persons whose families are meeting in Lyon on Friday:

1 - Eric Foray, disappeared on 16 September 2016 in Drôme

Aged 47, Eric Foray disappeared on 16 September 2016 shortly after midday, when he had been shopping in Chatuzange-le-Goubet, in the Drôme. The file had been closed but a judicial investigation was opened in March by the Valence Public Prosecutor's Office. His companion, Régis Pique, is due to meet the investigating judge in charge of the case on Monday 30 April.

According to several media reports, the name of Eric Foray's cousin was discovered by investigators in Nordahl Lelandais' address book. But neither his family nor his companion seem to know this person.

"We had just moved to the Drôme and had plans to open a restaurant in Romans-sur-Isère. The same afternoon Eric disappeared, we were supposed to get a check for 7,200 euros. He couldn't have disappeared like that. He even took his train tickets to see his children in Nancy in the days that followed," his companion recently told Le Parisien.

2 - Anne-Charlotte Poncin, disappeared on 5 January 2016 in Ain

Anne-Charlotte Poncin disappeared in Ambérieux, in the Ain, when she had barely left her home to go downtown. It was her partner who gave the alert. "The Ambérieux gendarmes asked the Ariane cell to carry out checks," a source close to the file told Le Figaro.

3 - Florent Bonnet, disappeared on 18 January 2014 in Savoie

On 18 January 2014, only the motorcycle and helmet of this 37-year-old man were found by the gendarmes of Bourg-Saint-Maurice, at the entrance to the Siaix tunnel. Since then, he has not given any sign of life.

4 - Stéphane Chemin, disappeared on 24 September 2012 in Isère

The public prosecutor's office of Grenoble reopened at the beginning of February the investigation into the disappearance of Stéphane Chemin, 33 years old, in the Bourg d'Oisans. He disappeared after running away from the ambulance that was transporting him to the hospital.

5 - Lucie Roux, missing September 16, 2012

Lucie Roux, 43, disappeared on September 16, 2012. According to Bernard Valézy, that day, "she took a taxi, went to a DIY store to buy a wooden board and nails. "Then she took a cab and was dropped off on the heights of Chambéry." Then her trail was lost.

The lawyer for this woman's family recently wrote to the public prosecutor of Chambéry, Thierry Dran: according to a testimony he received, the disappeared woman was hospitalized in the same place as Nordahl Lelandais between 2012 and 2013 and, from the same source, they had lunch together several times in this hospital.

6 - Malik Boutvillain, disappeared on 6 May 2012 in Isère

The 32-year-old man disappeared in Echirolles when he had gone jogging, without his phone, identity papers or car keys. The investigation had been closed but the Grenoble prosecutor reopened it in early February. He suffers from schizophrenia.

7 - Jean-Christophe Morin, disappeared on 9 September 2011 in Savoie

Aged 23, he disappeared during an electro festival organized at the Fort de Tamié, near Albertville, Savoie. The gendarmes only found his backpack. In L'Obs, Jean-Christophe Morin's lawyer states that his family still has two telephones that belonged to him and that they have not yet been seized by the courts.

It should be noted that another person, Ahmed Hamadou, 45 years old, disappeared under the same conditions in the same place during the night of 7 to 8 September 2012. "This place is known for its use of narcotics. There is a good chance that Lelandais has been there," Didier Seban and Corine Hermann, lawyers for Jean-Christophe Morin and Ahmed Hamadou commented in L'Obs - the latter's family will not be present in Lyon on Friday. "Hamadou was from Le-Pont-de-Beauvoisin, he knew Nordahl," his lawyer adds. Nordahl Lelandais grew up partly in this commune of Isère, it was also there that the wedding party was organised during which Maëlys disappeared last summer.

8 - Nelly Balmain, disappeared on August 8, 2011 in Drôme

On 11 January, the Public Prosecutor's Office in Valence reopened the investigation into the disappearance of Nelly Balmain, aged 29, which had been closed in 2015. The young woman had left her parents' home in Saint-Jean-en-Royans never to reappear, her scooter was never found.

9 - Adrien Fiorello, disappeared on October 6, 2010 in Savoie

That day, Adrien Fiorello, 22 years old, was supposed to be in Saint-Etienne. But on October 6, 2010, the day of his disappearance, his telephone pinged in Chambéry, where Nordahl Lelandais lived at that time. The court has ordered further investigations.

10 - Nicolas Suppo, disappeared on 15 September 2010 in Isère

This 30-year-old technical specialist disappeared in Echirolles, in Isère, while he was out for lunch. He had neither his identity papers nor his blue card with him, France Bleu Isère reported. The case was closed without further action in 2014, then reopened at the beginning of the year by the Grenoble court.

11 - Rachid Rameche, disappeared on 10 June 2009 in Savoie

The 34-year-old man disappeared in Bassens, Savoie, while staying in the city's hospital centre. He withdrew the amount of his adult disability benefits before he disappeared. He was staying in the same centre that Lucie Roux and Nordahl Lelandais attended between 2012 and 2013.

In all these cases, justice is obviously very cautious. "There is "no evidence" to establish Nordahl Lelandais' responsibility in these cases "but there is no evidence to exclude him either", the Grenoble prosecutor commented last February on four of them.

In some cases of the disappeared, however, the name of the former soldier was excluded: Estelle Mouzin, disappeared on 9 January 2003 in Guermantes; Lucas Tronche, disappeared on 18 March 2015 in Bagnols-sur-Cèze, Adrien Mouralmié, disappeared on 5 July 2017 near Lake Annecy. In the latter case, the body of the 24-year-old Belgian was found and the "criminal trail seems ruled out", reports L'Obs.

DISAPPEARANCE OF CORALIE MOUSSU IN 2009: "WHEN PEOPLE TALK ABOUT LELANDAIS, WE PAY A LOT OF ATTENTION"

Dauphine.com

It is about 11 o'clock and Jean-Marie Moussu leaves the cemetery of Vénéjan. Like every day, he went to visit his daughter Coralie's grave. At the beginning of the year, the file on the death of his daughter was transmitted to a cell of the national gendarmerie, established to work on Nordhal Lelandais.

Since then, the former soldier has confessed his responsibility for the death of Maëlys and Corporal Arthur Noyer. And for the past few days, the spotlight has been on Lucie Roux, who disappeared in September 2012. This young woman, known to be depressed, was in the same psychiatric institution as Lelandais, in Savoie, before she disappeared.

What state of mind is Coralie's father in today? He answered the questions of Vaucluse Matin.

The case of your daughter's death was entrusted to the national gendarmerie cell opened at the beginning of the year and in charge of centralizing information on Nordhal Lelandais, are you satisfied about that?

We're convinced Coralie didn't kill herself. There are dark areas that have never been clarified: her body was discovered far from Vénéjan in Port-Saint-Louis-du-Rhône, her car (a black Micra, NDLR) was never found... She may have been downcast, depressed but not at that moment, she seemed fine. Hope, when you've lost a child, you don't have any more but you never know... You get information, you find out. We tell ourselves that it could be...

LELANDAIS CASE: THE UNBEARABLE WAIT OF FAMILIES WHOSE LOVED ONES HAVE GONE MISSING

20Minutes.fr
https://www.20minutes.fr/justice/22...ortable-attente-familles-dont-proches-disparu

Everyone has their own way of reacting to fear. Some stutter. Others cry. Bernard Poncin is laughing. Noisily. Frankly. Like it's the only way to ward off the curse that's been haunting him for two months. "If he's behind all this, it's really not good for Anne-Charlotte...," he ends up explaining. "He" is Nordahl Lelandais. Since he confessed in February to the "accidental deaths" of little Maëlys and then of Corporal Arthur Noyer, Bernard Poncin wonders if he is not also responsible for the disappearance, in 2016, of his daughter, Anne-Charlotte.

Dalila Boutvillain asks herself the same question about her brother Malik, who disappeared in May 2012. Olga Roux wonders about her daughter Lucie. Marie-France Fiorello thinks of her son Adrien. Not to mention Ahmed, Jean-Christophe or Rachid... The families of all these disappeared will meet again this Friday in Lyon. Gathered at the initiative of the association Assistance et recherches de personnes disparues (ARPD) to discuss the Nordahl Lelandais case.

"Since January, we have identified some thirty cases of disappearances in which he could be involved," says Bernard Valézy, ARDP vice-president. Each time, the association has transmitted all the information in its possession to the Ariane gendarmerie cell, specially set up to discover if Nordahl Lelandais did not leave behind more victims than he claimed.

Due to the secrecy of the investigation, the families have, for the moment, no feedback on the investigations conducted by the gendarmes. And are thus limited to making their own conjectures.

For Olga Roux, they are as precise as they are frightening. On 18 April, a witness called her to tell her that her daughter, Lucie, had had lunch "several times" with Nordahl Lelandais before disappearing without a trace in 2012.

For other families, the ties are much weaker.
"We only know that my son Adrien's telephone was confined to Chambéry the day he disappeared, even though he knew no one there," Marie-France Fiorello says. "And we know that Lelandais frequented Chambéry..." Bernard Poncin, on the other hand, simply retained that Lelandais is a former soldier "like [his] daughter", that he loved dogs and that she "owned one"... It's thin. But enough to "scare" him.

Two months after Nordhal Lelandais' confession, the families of all these disappeared are now in a paradoxical situation. Tormented between the idea of learning the worst and at the same time impatient to finally know the truth about the disappearance of their loved ones. "In most cases, especially the older ones, families have come to terms with the fact that their loved ones have died," according to Bernard Valézy. "What they expect today is to finally know the truth, that their cases will be dealt with." This has not always been the case.

"We finally get the impression that we are being taken seriously by the authorities," Dalila Boutvillain says. "I remember when I went to report Malik missing in 2012, I was told there was no staff to even do a neighborhood survey! And that he was of age anyway!"

The fault lies with the French penal code that provides almost a right to disappear for any adult who wishes to cut the bridges with his close relations. Since 2013, there has been no more investigation in the interest of families, Bernard Valézy criticizes. He now advocates the creation of an interministerial unit responsible for managing cases of disappearance. "That would make it possible to have a real file listing all the cases and all the clues."

And not have to run after them to find them afterwards. "What's crazy is that it took the death of a little girl and a young man to finally get things moving," Marie-France Fiorello sums up. The problem is that some evidence may have disappeared over time. Nordahl Lelandais only confesses if the evidence is put under his nose."

Bernard Poncin has no proof. Not even a single piece of information about his daughter's disappearance. "So I'm just waiting for investigators to tell me if Lelandais's phone beeped in the city where she was on January 5, 2016. If so, I'll know where I stand..."

A "working meeting" at the initiative of the association ARPD (Assistance et recherche des personnes disparues) which aims to go beyond the Lelandais case by wanting to change the legislation on missing persons.

But the course of the former soldier of Domessin (Savoie) hovers over this second date. After Lelandais' confession concerning little Maëlys and Corporal Arthur Noyer, the relatives of many disappeared want to know the truth.

At the beginning of June 2015, Monique Thibert, councillor of Hauteville, suddenly disappeared during a hike. However, the facts did not occur on our territory, but in the Grand Morgon massif, in the Hautes Alpes. Monique Thibert was a bit ahead of the group she was part of, and the alert was given very quickly. Despite the deployment of a very vast search operation on a clearly identified territory, she was never found.

A call for witnesses is launched after the disappearance of a 62-year-old councillor from Hauteville Lompnes on Tuesday around 14:30-15:00. She was hiking in the commune of Crots (Hautes Alpes) when she was lost from sight by her friends during the descent of the Grand Morgon, sector of the relay and the Barn. The missing woman is slightly deaf. She is of European type, of thin corpulence measures approximately 1.60. She has medium-length black hair. She was dressed in a black Adidas set with white stripes on the sides. She also wore a red cap with the "Caisse d'Epargne" logo and beige walking shoes. She was wearing a small red and grey backpack and black plastic sunglasses. A first series of searches took place Tuesday evening. A second is launched this Wednesday morning. Nordahl Lelandais in April 2001, he joined the 132nd dog battalion of Suippes (Marne). He had enlisted for five years, he only lasted four, and was struck off in April 2005. Re another article says: He will have had time to obtain a basic certificate of dog handler, to perform two missions of four month was stationed in Suippes (Marne), in the 132nd Army Dog Battalion, between 2002 and 2007.

The ex-military is "noticed" in October 2008, with two accomplices, engaging in a battle of eggs and fruits in a supermarket, by burning tricolor flags, and a restaurant in Paladru (Isère). He will be sentenced to one year in prison, but received a sentence adjustment.
Under an electronic bracelet starting April 2009. He was released on parole in October 2010.
Per Twitter reporter: He was never effectively in prison, he 'served' 12 months with an ankle bracelet (April 2009 to April 2010). Reporter: Le Midi Libre published an article with the testimony of a friend of Lelandais. He tells that the latter regularly came to Montpellier to party between 2008 and 2012.

Wondering "what" day he was released from ankle bracelet, as Adrien Fiorello was killed; was he anxious to kill again on the 6th?

Estelle Mouzin, 9, disappeared on 9 January 2003 in Guermantes (Seine-et-Marne), around 6 pm between her house and her school. Nordahl Lelandais was 19 years old, he was at the military camp of Suippes (Marne), 150 kilometers away but was sent on a mission to the East at the time of the disappearance.
In the Estelle Mouzin case, it was enough for the investigators to question the army to learn that he was on a mission in Guyana at the time of the girl's disappearance in 2003 in Seine-et-Marne. Excluded: File is closed.

Nordahl started his dog training business in Chambéry in February 2010, business can be placed near the Chambéry train station starting in 2010. According to Google Maps, it is only 550 meters away: a 7 minute walk, or a 3 minute drive. The Chambéry train station was said to be the last location where Adrien Fiorello's phone pinged. The head office of this company was located 317 rue Nicolas Parent - 73000 Chambery

In 2010, Nordahl Lalandais:

*was on ankle monitor from [color=red[b]April 2009
to January 2010[/color]
The articles I could find just say that he was condemned to 1 year of ankle bracelet at the end of April 2009. However, pursuant to the Criminal procedure code, there is an automatic 3-month reduction of sentence for the first year (and more if the person has a job prospect or resumes studies, the goal being reinsertion). It means that NL was probably without his ankle bracelet end of January 2010 at the latest.

*was somewhere with an ankle monitor from April 2009 to January 2010

*registered the start of his dog training company in Chambéry in February 2010

*became depressed and passed a while in the psychiatric hospital in Chambéry OR was an out-patient from 2012 to 2013.

Rachid Rameche, disappeared in 2009 June, in Bassens (Savoie) while he was in a psychiatric institution. He withdrew the amount of his adult disability benefits before he disappeared. He was staying in the same centre that Lucie Roux and Nordahl Lelandais attended between 2012 and 2013.
Request from family to investigate. At the beginning of the year (2018), the file on the death of his daughter was transmitted to a cell of the national gendarmerie, established to work on Nordhal Lelandais.

Coralie Moussu - the autopsy of the body of the 32-year-old woman, found in the Rhône in December, reveals that she did not drown. The investigators are back to square one and are now focusing on the criminal track. Coralie Moussu's car, a black Nissan Micra with 2899 YZ 30 registration, car has never been found. The young woman was last seen inside this vehicle on the morning of November 6,2009. She had just dropped her daughter off at her mother's house for two hours, while she was preparing the exam to take a CAP [Certificate of Professional Competence] early childhood.
Now on list for investigation.

Nicolas Suppo, 30 years old, a technical specialist disappeared on 15 September 2010 near Echirolles. He disappeared during his lunch break. His coworkers saw him at work in the morning. He had neither his identity papers nor his blue card with him, France Bleu Isère reported. The case was closed without further action in 2014, then reopened at the beginning of the year (2018) by the Grenoble court.
Earlier: Probably not a suspect; same region as NL; preliminary investigation. Now on list of: possible link; verification under way.

Adrien Fiorello, a 22-year-old student who disappeared on 6 October 2010 in Firminy (Loire) while he was on his way to the university in Chambéry (Savoie). The young man's cell phone last pinged in Chambéry (train station) at 5:37 p.m. on October 6, 2010. We don't know if it was ever physically located. Chambéry is where Nordahl Lelandais had a dog breeding business at that time. He was supposed to be in Saint-Étienne, not Chambéry, the day he vanished. Saint-Étienne is where he went to university classes. How his phone ended up in Chambéry is still a mystery. The two cities are about 150 kilometers apart.
3/19/18 Update: According to information from BFM TV, the gendarmes will investigate the disappearance of Adrien Fiorello after the prosecutor's office in Saint-Etienne requested the prosecutor's office in Chambéry to formally attach the file. An initial investigation had determined that his mobile phone had pinged in Chambéry. Nordahl Lelandais was living in Chambéry at the time. The court has ordered further investigations.
Possible link, verification under way. Case has been reopened; now on list for investigation.

Nelly Balmain was 29 when she leaves the family home of Saint-Jean-en-Royans (Drôme) on a scooter, without reappearing. She disappears on 8 August 2011. On 11 January 2018, the Public Prosecutor's Office in Valence reopened the investigation into the disappearance of Nelly Balmain, aged 29, which had been closed in 2015. The young woman had left her parents' home in Saint-Jean-en-Royans never to reappear, her scooter was never found.
Earlier: Verification in progress; request from family to investigate. On 11 January 2018, the prosecutor also reopened this investigation. Now on list for investigation.

Jean-Christophe Morin, 23, disappeared on 9-10 September 2011 during an electro party at Tamié Fort in Albertville (Savoie). The gendarmes only found his backpack. In L'Obs, Jean-Christophe Morin's lawyer states that his family still has two telephones that belonged to him and that they have not yet been seized by the courts.

Kévin Fauvel, 27, on the night of 1-2 April 2012, left the community of Jansiac, located in Châteauneuf-Miravail, in the Jabron Valley. Since then, his family has no news.

Malik Boutvillain, 32, disappeared on 6 May 2012 in Echirolles (Isère). He was out jogging.
Earlier: Probably not a suspect; same region as NL; preliminary investigation. Now on list of: possible suspect; verification under way. The investigation had been closed but the Grenoble prosecutor reopened it in early February 2018. He suffers from schizophrenia.

Hugo Raffi, 28 years old missing from Albertville since 15 June 2012.

Ahmed Hamadou, 45, disappeared in 7-8 September 2012 at Fort Tamié (Savoie). According to this 2012 article Yan and Ahmed (who knew each other since one week) arrived together in the car at 4am, then Yan got into two fights with the festival security, lost his cell phone and broke his glasses. He left quite hurriedly alone in his car, leaving Ahmed behind (4 witnesses confirm this). He arrived at a friend's place at 6am, telling him he went to the gendarmerie (for his cell phone?). They tried to call Ahmed but could not reach him. Then Yan left and disappeared for 15 days. "Hamadou was from Le-Pont-de-Beauvoisin, he knew Nordahl," his lawyer adds. Nordahl Lelandais grew up partly in this commune of Isère, it was also there that the wedding party was organised during which Maëlys disappeared last summer.
On list for investigation. Possible link; verification under way.

On September 16, 2012, Lucie had not told her three roommates where she wanted to go. Equipped with a small backpack, she left without her mobile phone, papers or credit card. The investigation showed that the day before she went to a DIY store to buy plywood boards, nails and screws in cash before being taken by taxi to the Monts district in Chambéry in a forest. That's where the investigators lost track of her. She had returned home in the evening without the equipment before disappearing the next day "between 4 and 7 pm".
4/26/18: The lawyer for this woman's family recently wrote to the public prosecutor of Chambéry, Thierry Dran: according to a testimony he received, the disappeared woman was hospitalized in the same place as Nordahl Lelandais between 2012 and 2013 and, from the same source, they had lunch together several times in this hospital.

Stéphane Chemin, 33 years old, who suffers from schizophrenia, disappeared on 24 September 2012 in Bourg-d' Oisans region (Isère).
Earlier: Probably not a suspect; same region as NL; preliminary investigation. Now on list for investigation: possible link; verification under way. The public prosecutor's office of Grenoble reopened at the beginning of February, 2018 the investigation into the disappearance of Stéphane Chemin, 33 years old, in the Bourg d'Oisans. He disappeared after running away from the ambulance that was transporting him to the hospital.

"According to information from Dauphiné Libéré, Lelandais was treated until early 2013 by the center of alcoholism in Chambéry because of his heavy dependence on alcohol. He was also treated for depression at the medical-psychological center of Chambéry." Nordahl Lelandais was treated by the medical-psychological center of Chambéry from 2012 to 2013."

Florent Bonnet, 37 years old, who disappeared on 18 January 2014 in Bourg-Saint-Maurice (Savoie). He was on a motorcycle and his two-wheeler was found near the Siaix tunnel, with a helmet on it.
Probably not a victim of NL. Request from family to investigate. Now on list list to be investigated.

Caroline Rivollier, 29 years old 2014 May who lived in Lyon, had told her roommates that she was leaving for a few days but she never came back. What intrigues the investigators is that her credit card was used in Chambéry three nights in a row.
Her family has asked to reactivate the investigation, according to the ARPD.

Eve Monteil, 49 years old, on 25 August 2014, in Bourg-en-Bresse (Ain).

Sydney Font, 42 years old, who had left his home with his laptop, disappeared from Caluire on September 30, 2014. His family, who lives in Drumettaz in Savoie, wondered if he might have crossed the path of Nordahl Lelandais because "he moved a lot by BlablaCar (car-pooling)," notes Bernard Valezy. "We also know that he bought an SNCF (train) ticket on the day of his disappearance, without anyone knowing the destination."
Family has asked to investigate any connection to Lelandais.

Lucas Tronche, then 15 years old, had disappeared on 18 March 2015, at 5.10pm, Lucas had planned to go on his kick scooter to a bus stop in the commune of Bagnols-sur-Cèze, where he would take a coach to the public swimming pool in Laudun-l’Ardoise for swimming practice with his 17-year-old brother, Valentin. Valentin left before Lucas, expecting Lucas to join him at the bus stop. Lucas left the family home and locked the door but did not turn up at the bus stop. Valentin attempted to contact Lucas at around 5.30pm, but Lucas’s mobile phone was switched off. Technical analysis would later reveal that Lucas’s phone was turned off at 5.14pm, a few minutes before he left the house. Lucas left without his swimming gear, but did leave with a rucksack containing very few items. He did not take any money, a sleeping bag or a knife with him – items that, as a keen scout with a good knowledge of outdoor survival, he would have known to take if he had been planning to leave home. His intentions after leaving the house remain unknown.
Possible link; verification under way.
2/27/18: Checks on the telephone and bank accounts of Nordahl Lelandais were to be carried out in connection with the disappearance of Lucas Tronche in Bagnols-sur-Cèze. Indeed, as we revealed at the end of December, 2017, the suspect has family in the Gard, not far from Bagnols. This week, we learn from our Ebdo colleagues that no link on the telephony side can be connected to Nordahl Lelandais in Lucas' disappearance. And according to the regional daily newspaper, the mobile phone data indicated the presence of the alleged killer of Maëlys in Isère that day.

"Karine (not her real name) and Nordahl met in May 2015 through a dating site. Both are passionate about dogs. Nordahl presents himself as a "warrior" who was in the Legion. A lie. Karine falls under his spell. Lelandais tells her that she is the love of his life, that he even wants to have children with her. But Karine soon realizes that he is cheating on her with other women. And in December 2016, she decides to break up. Lelandais takes this very badly.

Nordine Seghiri, 49, disappeared on 10 July 2015 from a hospital in Chambéry (Savoie).
Request from family to investigate.

Thomas Rauschkolb: Sunday (December 27, 2015) around 4:50 p.m., the father of an 18-year-old man contacted the gendarmes to report the disappearance of his son. The latter was last seen around 2:30 a.m., during the night from Saturday to Sunday while leaving the "Studio 54" nightclub in Grésy-sur-Aix. The young man left the nightclub, leaving behind his jacket. The gendarmes immediately established a search perimeter around the nightclub, especially to the bridge that spans the Sierroz at this location." Thomas R.'s body was found the next day, in the river. Grésy-sur-Aix is about 25 minutes north of Chambéry, by car. Curious fact: after leaving the nightclub, he takes the opposite direction and follows a dead end passageway. At the end of this alley, he stepped over a fence as he was maybe trying to escape something. In his race, he looses a shoe and falls 14 meters below. His belt was found caught in the grid on the garden side. Why has he taken off his belt? There were marks on his phalanges. As Jean-Christophe Morin, he seemed afraid of someone.
Request from family to investigate.

Anne-Charlotte Poncin, 30 years old, disappeared on 5 January 2016 in Ambérieu-en-Bugey (Ain). In the morning, she leaves her home on foot to go downtown to look for work.
Request from family to investigate; now on list for investigation.
4/27/18: "The Ambérieux gendarmes asked the Ariane cell to carry out checks," a source close to the file told Le Figaro.

Antoine Zoia, 16-year-old teenager has not been found since 1 March 2016. He disappeared in Clarensac, near Nîmes, also in the Gard. Antoine was last seen buying a packet of cigarettes from a tobacconist’s shop. His whereabouts remain unknown and all lines of investigation are being considered. An investigation was launched to establish whether there could be a link between these two disappearances of teenage boys (Lucase Tronche) with similar characteristics from nearby locations in under a year.
Possible link; verification under way. Now on list for investigation.

Ilhan Sahingoz, 39 years old missing from Albertville since 11 April 2016.

Olivier Charpe, 59, never returned from a mountain bike ride on 12 August 2016 in Saint-Romans (Isère).

Georgette Amat Chantoux (Georgette Bonnet), 79 years old, residing in Lumbin. She was reported missing in October 2016, but her phone had not been active since 9 September 2016. Georgette lived alone and had little contact with her family. According to the neighbours, she used go to the mountains to pick blueberries (not mushrooms) in the Belledonne Massif. Her car was found there, in a parking lot. It had been there for weeks. "In the Bonnet case, the only reason for the reopening of the investigation is the geographical proximity (a distance of about 15 kilometers) between the area of [her] disappearance and the places of discovery of Arthur Noyer's bones, in Montmélian, of which Nordahl Lelandais is suspected of murder."
Earlier: Probably not suspect; same region as NL; preliminary investigation. Now on list of: possible link; verification under way.

Éric Foray, 47, disappeared on 16 September 2016, shortly after noon, after he had recently done some shopping in Chatuzange-le-Goubet (Drôme).
Request from family to investigate. Thursday 8 March 2018 from the prosecutor's office in Valence have opened & will explore this investigation. Now on list for investigation.
4/9/18 update: A link has been established between Eric & NL. In NL's address book, investigators found the name of a family member of Eric's. The only connection that could link Eric Foray to Nordahl Lelandais is their respective jobs at some point in their lives. Eric was a representative in wine products and Nordahl Lelandais was a driver and delivery driver in a lemonade company that delivered water and spirits to restaurants and various businesses in the region. The name found in a notebook of Nordahl Lelandais would be that of a cousin of the disappeared, according to France 3. It remains to be seen how and why Lelandais could have noted this surname. According to several media reports, the name of Eric Foray's cousin was discovered by investigators in Nordahl Lelandais' address book. But neither his family nor his companion seem to know this person.

End of relationship with Karine - December, 2016

Arthur Noyer, 23 years old, disappeared in 11-12 April 2017 in Chambéry. The night of the young soldier's disappearance, the mobile phones of Lelandais and the corporal triggered several relays in the Chambéry region at the same time. This supports the thesis that both men were traveling in the same car, namely the Audi A3 from Lelandais. The vehicle was filmed by a video surveillance camera in Chambéry. Arthur Noyer disappeared as he hitchhiked around 4 a. m. to get back to his barracks after a night spent in a disco. The investigators said he got into Nordahl Lelandeis' car. On February 5, 2018, Nordahl admitted to having picked him up without confessing that he had murdered him.
Indicted on 12/20/17 for this murder. 3/29/18 confessed to killing Noyer. During the hearing on 29 March NL spontaneously admitted that he gave a lift to Arthur who was very drunk (très alcoolisé). A fight erupted (BFM says that so far it is unknown if in the car or out), and NL violently punched Arthur who fell and died. Then NL transported Arthur body in a remote place.

Adrien Mourialmé, 24 years old, disappeared in 5 July 2017 on the shores of Lake Annecy (Haute-Savoie). The young man disappeared without taking his belongings. His bank account and phone have not been active since July 4th. He left most of his belongings at the hotel where he was working as a cook in Talloires-Montmin (Haute-Savoie), and vanished. 2/24/18: The study of telephony, in the case of the young cook, is completed. Paris Match has learned that it has given nothing. "Nor does it mean that Nordahl Lelandais was not on the scene," said Belgian family lawyer Stéphane Decamp. He could have turned off his phone well before the fact. Mr.
Decamp hopes that the investigation will not be abandoned, despite this element." Found 9 months later on April 6, 2018 hanging from a tree.
Possible link; verification under way. Now on list for investigation. Prosecutors declare NL probably not involved with this crime.
4/9/18 Update: The public prosecutor's office in Annecy has not ruled out any possibility to date. 4/27/18: In this case, the body of the 24-year-old Belgian was found and the "criminal trail seems ruled out", reports L'Obs.

On July 18, 2017, a month before Maëlys' kidnapping, Nordahl becomes even more violent: "While driving his car, Lelandais sped up toward my client who was in her car, relates Gallo. She says she narrowly escaped the collision and an accident. Frightened, she decides to go to the authorities to file a complaint. But Lelandais tries to dissuade her. He follows her. "And when she arrives in front of the gendarmerie of Pont-de-Beauvoisin, Lelandais is already there," said Gallo. But Karine does not give up. "The gendarmes took her complaint and the prosecutor's
office in Chambéry filed the complaint as endangering the lives of others with immediate risk of death. Which is not minor!" exclaims Mr. Ronald Gallo, adding that this complaint has not had consequences

Maëlys De Araujo, 9 years old, disappeared at Pont-de-Beauvoisin in 27 August 2017. Her bones were discovery on February 14 and 15 at the foot of Mont Grêle in Savoie.
Indicted for this murder on 9/3/17; 2/14/18 confessed to killing Maëlys "accidentally" and led investigators to her body in the woods of Attignat-Oncin, on the heights of Lake Aiguebelette (Savoie)

The mission of this dedicated team consists of two stages. The first step is to take a closer look at Nordahl Lelandais' life course, interviewing all the judicial bases but also private service providers such as telephone operators, banks and insurance companies. In the jargon of the gendarmes, this work aims to "fix in time and space" the suspect. Concretely, it consists in finding his various addresses, the places he frequented, his employers, his friends, his banking movements, his old vehicles and mobile phones. Has it been checked anywhere? What gyms did he use? What nightclubs? The objective is to go back as far as possible in time. The thousands of data collected will then be compared with the information available to investigators on all unsolved disappearance cases, through the AnaCrim software. This 360-strong unit was created in the 1990s, when Constable Jean-François Abgrall headed the investigation unit devoted to the "murder backpacker" Francis Heaulme.
Since then, the system has made possible to implicate the serial killer Patrice Alègre for certain crimes and it was used to revive the case of little Gregory, in early 2017. AnaCrim makes it possible to create relational diagrams and chronologies, even when the protagonists of a file are very numerous. Investigators have already been able to exclude Nordahl Lelandais' involvement in three cold cases: the disappearance of little Estelle Mouzin in 2003 in Guermantes (Seine-et-Marne), since he was on mission in French Guiana at that time; the Chevaline massacre in September 2012 in Savoie, and the disappearance of Lucas Tronche in March 2015 in the Gard. In this case, however, the courts are awaiting final results. "We have a number of elements that lead us to believe that he was not in the Gard at the time. But as long as we are not sure, it is an element on which we continue to work", the public prosecutor of Nîmes indicated.

LELANDAIS CASE: PARENTS OF NELLY BALMAIN WERE HEARD THIS FRIDAY IN VALENCE

France Bleu
https://www.francebleu.fr/infos/fai...ain-entendus-ce-vendredi-a-valence-1524853999

The Balmain couple left the Valence courthouse "reassured" on Friday. They were heard for four hours by an investigating judge following the reopening, last January, of the investigation into their daughter's disappearance in 2011.

The Balmain couple finally feel they have been heard. They left the courthouse in Valence "reassured" this Friday afternoon after being heard for four hours by an investigating judge.

Nelly Balmain, 29 years old, disappeared in August 2011, in Saint-Jean-en-Royans in the Drôme. The investigation was reopened last January. It seeks to know if Nordahl Lelandais could be involved in her disappearance.

This Friday, Nelly Balmain's parents were heard as a civil party following the filing of the complaint. "After four hours of interrogation, the family said thank you to the investigating judge," Bernard Boulloud, lawyer of the Balmains, explains.

"We see that justice is now moving with considerable means, they will do everything to find the truth."

"The investigation at the time was conducted with the means available, Nelly's computer and phone were given to a charity since her parents thought they no longer had any use, it's a shame nowadays we would be happy to have these items," Bernard Boulloud says.

The Balmain couple's lawyer remains confident about today's investigation: "The investigating judge has really put humanity into the machinerie and the investigating magistrates will do everything so that we find the truth, better late than never and I think it will move forward."

Another case was relaunched in the Drôme, the one concerning the disappearance of Eric Foray in Chatuzange-le-Goubet in September 2016. His spouse, Régis Pique, has also filed a civil action and will be heard by a judge on Monday.

THE RELATIVES OF THE PEOPLE MISSING FROM THE REGION MET IN LYON

France Bleu
https://www.francebleu.fr/infos/fai...-de-la-region-se-reunissent-a-lyon-1524863771

About fifteen relatives of missing persons from the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region met this Friday. The ARDP association is calling for investigations to be relaunched in the light of Nordahl Lelandais's criminal record, which includes two murders. Families deplore the lack of information on their case.

They have had no news of a son, daughter, sister or companion for several years. Malik, the brother of Dalila Boutvillain for example, disappeared in 2012 when he vanished into thin air in Echirolles, south of Grenoble. An investigation was opened three months ago, but his sister deplores the lack of information:

"We don't know where we stand. We do not have every month an investigator who calls us to tell us which door has been opened or closed" - Dalila Boutvillain

Her brother's computer has only been seized recently, something that was not done 6 years ago at the time of the disappearance. For Bernard Boulloud their lawyer, it is an emblematic case. In a way, it represents what not to do. On the contrary one of the files he follows, that of Arthur Noyer (the young corporal murdered last year and in which Nordahl Lelandais is indicted), is a counter-example :

"The Chambéry judge of insctruction collected lots of evidence which, when the Lelandais door opened, could be used to good effect" - lawyer Bernard Boulloud on the Arthur Noyer case.

The lawyer advocates for better listening to families in missing persons cases and better information sharing between investigative services across the country. This point of view is shared by the ARDP, the association Assistance et recherche de personnes disparues, who organised this Friday's meeting in Lyon.

The case of Malik Boutvillain is one of 27 disappearance cases followed by the association in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. Cases for which the ARDP requests that checks be carried out to find out whether or not there is a link with Nordahl Lelandais, indicted in the murders of little Maëlys and Corporal Arthur Noyer. Of these 23 cases, 13 have been reviewed or redirected since the last family reunion in February. There are eight more cases in which a body was found.

Faced with the distress of relatives, the association Assitance et Recherche des Personnes Disparues, through its vice-president Bernard Valézy, is calling for the creation of a "right to information" for families and the establishment of a national register of missing and dead persons "under X". A proposal taken up at the beginning of the year by the public prosecutor of Grenoble, Jean-Yves Coquillat, during the formal conference at the beginning of the court year.

TWO MEN MISSING FROM FORT DE TAMIÉ (SAVOIE): LAWYER CORINNE HERRMANN DENOUNCES "MEDIEVAL JUSTICE"

France Info
https://france3-regions.francetvinf...yen-age-avocate-corinne-herrmann-1466587.html

The lawyer for the families of the two men who disappeared from Fort Tamié in Savoie is stepping up to the plate. If an investigation would apparently be underway to try to determine whether Nordahl Lelandais was involved, families are being left unaware. Corine Herrmann denounces a "medieval justice".

"It has been several months since we contacted the justice department" Corinne Herrmann almost seems to apologize to justify her words today. The disappearance lawyer represents the families of Jean-Christophe Morin and Ahmed Hamadou. Both literally disappeared, one year apart, in 2011 and 2012, while they were attending a music festival at Fort Tamié in Savoie. With the Lelandais case, the families learned through the press that new investigations were going to be undertaken, but they claim they were never contacted by the courts. That is why their lawyer decided to break the silence on Friday 27 April 2018.

Did Nordahl Lelandais make any victims other than little Maëlys and Corporal Noyer? In total, some twenty disappearance cases have reportedly been reopened, but the families have not been kept informed. Corinne Herrmann says: "It has been two months since we filed a complaint with a civil claim and we have had no response from the courts."

Even more serious for the lawyer, the family of Jean-Christophe Morin would have found 2 telephones belonging to the disappeared but these pieces of evidence do not seem to interest the court: "We know however that the file of Lelandais contains a lot of evidence about telecommunications, we can track him in this way" she explained this Friday to one of our teams.

And maître Herrmann pushes it further. For her, in this case, we are dealing with medieval justice: "It is a justice that has locked itself up in its bastion, which dates from another era because it does not communicate, at least not with families". And to conclude: "This is a matter of human decency!"

Oh ZaZara - more articles and info!! I added a different color - orange for the families that attended the Lyon meeting. Won't post the whole thing over again.... Next time we have more info on the investigation I'll post it again. And I added Monique to the list too. Actually the article says 15 families - but there were 16.
