#Defense counsel John Merchant confirms that #TaraGrinstead door had two locks - one being a bolt. This goes to the defense theory of a false confession; that the alleged confession does not match the physical evidence in the case

Ryan Duke sits at defense table (far right) during prosecution opening statement. He's charged with the 2005 murder of #TaraGrinstead. Co-defendant Bo Dukes says Ryan Duke killed Grinstead and enlisted his help to destroy the body. Duke's defense says the roles are reversed.

Defense counsel Ashleigh Merchant begins to tell the jury her theory of the #TaraGrinstead case. She’s going to say why they allege the evidence doesn’t match the alleged confession thus making it a false confession. She says it’s not a burglary gone bad as the state alleges

“That glove was not there Sunday night” - Defense says #TaraGrinstead timeline presented by the State is wrong. “She was not home when the state says this happened”

This is my belief.
This has always been my beilef, and the one that makes the most sense. Bo Dukes was the dominant one. Tara was buried on his family's property. There is no way that Bo would help Ryan if the roles were reversed, IMO. He especially is not going to bury Tara on his family's property. I can see Bo planting the glove to frame Ryan, too.
