It is now clear parents think that original investigation was biased. Saxony-Anhalt Interior Minister ordered last Thursday that original investigation be handed to another team and revised.

Inga’s mom Victoria did mention this.
She wants the investigation focused on the circles of these suspects,like POI - MH (Martin H.) She wants LE to have closer look,the contacts of POIs.

Inga’s family was not satisfied,that 4 years after Inga’s disappearance,an investigation group,who looked at Inga’s file,was dissolved already,after 11 days.

German State LE are very autonomous and independent as it seems to me.

Reason to withhold those 1.900 pages might simply be that they don't want other LE checking details about their investigation. Also, if there's a connection, Berliner LE would perhaps wish to do all the work and win the medal. I see no other motif.

Of course all this harms Inga's investigation for unreasonable reasons.

Unbiased is used here in the sense of 'open'. Starting anew, without the interference of the previous team. The implication is not that the previous team was biased. They may have made decisions or drawn conclusions that the new team may not repeat, but that does not impy bias per se.

The announcement does not refer to Inga's case specifically. This appears to be a new and general policy:

Zieschang announced a new way of dealing with investigations that have been without results for many years. In cases where all investigative approaches of the investigative teams in the locally responsible police inspectorates have been exhausted, teams from other inspectorates are to temporarily take over cases. They are to examine the findings and traces of the respective cases for further investigative approaches, as Zieschang said. The aim is to have an open perspective on the events.

IMO this is what every cold case team should be doing.

In 2016,the police searched the old farm of Martin H.They found several things,and these things werent checked probably also connections with other cases werent followed up or nvestigated.

Interesting - 2016 is when CB's box factory was searched too. We never had clarification if that site was in relation to IG or MM, certainly both were mentioned in the press as being the reason for it being searched.

I'm sure they searched due to ig, but then after that he came on the radar for mm, I'm thinking out loud here, wasn't it due to a mobile phone being found, amongst many other things ?

The house was abandoned for 10 years and MH bought it in 2013.
There is a good overview of the property and MH puts blinds on the fence garden.He had also a lot of children toys,stuffed animals,a swimming pool and pony’s.

Also that family readily called police. Under such unreal assumptions, an investigation can't be unbiased. 3 weeks after Inga went missing, it was expected that LE had an accurate scenario.

False assumption about 7.30pm had already been confirmed from official page woistinga.de

It's new Chief Inspector assumed Stendal Police was called a little later... Another false assumption. He must know they were called at 8.13pm, which is at least 1 hour later than 6.30-7pm he stated to newspaper Welt...

i totally agree with you!
Sigh, very sloppy.

The police and media — still reporting,about the wrong place of disappearance.
It seems to me,very crucial to mention,that Inga disappeared,…when she was walking,from the grill area to the guest house to fetch supplies for dinner,for the (3 family’s) BBQ!!


There was a playground nearby,so possible witnesses could have remember,afterwards suspicious behavior,orso….

The times of her disappearance should also have been correctly published, so that witnesses (who were not registrated, after all - Wilhemshof area is also,an open public place,where you can hike,camp,shop,etc) could have been thinking,”owww I was there,at that time“ “or on my travelroute” or “I am not sure,but…”

Walking from the BBQ place to a house vs collecting woods,is a HUGE difference,imo.

I really read some,judgmental victimblaming comments,reguarding to Inga’s place of disappearance.
