I feel that if RAT wants JM's DNA tested in the case of Alexis Murphy, he should first have to give up the location of her body. Why should anyone do anything that could possibly reduce his sentence if he isn't willing to tell what he knows?

Too late now. It appears that Nelson Co. has already agreed to do the DNA testing, just to get everyone to shut up about it, is what it sounds like.

Brought it up because a Sleuth on another thread thought there was a connection to JML football jersey, he wore 81 in HS and 90 at JU. Jerseys for CNU and the local pro league are unknown. Lots of us are very interesting in finding a connection - not to let RAT off the hook, (it is obviously he did AM violence, but, to make JML even more guilty.

Perhaps they're doing some sleuthing of their own? Trying to re-create events and see things from the security camera perspective? That's the only explanation I can think of, although whether Sal's food is good or not is a hotly-debated topic locally.

this story is so misleading. The first paragraph indicates JLM has been "linked" to the murder of Alexis Murphy and then the story goes on to clarify that the only "link" thus far is that RAT's attorney would like to suggest there is one.

Lots of media outlets are trying to get clicks by speculating about all the cases JLM could be involved with, but if he is forensically linked to more than Morgan and Hannah, it will be huge news. Parker Slaybaugh with 8News out of Richmond and NBC29 are reputable local sources to follow for accurate updates. I think it is important to remember that JLM would have only been a teen in the 90s when the Route 29 stalker cases, Shenandoah Park murders and Alicia Showalter Reynolds murder took place, but RAT is older. Has he been ruled out in all of those cases?
