Has a Lawyer been hired? Yup** Joe Tacopina and unknown local female counsel

Another vid of Joe with Melanie McGuire (one stone cold murderer) as she is found guilty.
Quite interesting body language between the pair.

He looks like he isn't too keen on comforting her, knows she was guilty perhaps? But a bit disappointed for his own sake because it´s annoying to lose a case.
i dont know anything about her so just guessing.

local attorney commenting he seems good but it's a bit odd to have someone from New York in Missouri.

Fascinating!

Wonder how she found JT for her attorney or was he appointed by the Court? I didn't follow this case.

Also of interest is his own reaction to the verdict reading.

Oh definitely not appointed, this lady was able to make million dollar bails, consistently, as hard as that is to believe but she was out on bond for the whole trial, she lived in NJ so he would have been well known to her.

Donjeta,
To me J looks depressed and mad at Deborah. J shows very little eye contact and looks down much of the time. J possibly knows what happened to Lisa. He is in a terrible spot.

imo

Call me crazy, but if suspected of killing my daughter, I wouldn't probably engage a lawyer who defended well known mob members or slashers (JVS). I would find someone who would help my image, not join the ranks of clientele who make up the scum of earth.

Something tells me she wasn't aware of his client resume....

:eek:hoh:

From the McCallister Law Firm’s page where Ms. Short is a partner:

Here it comes! Dr. Drew announced that Deborah's family had a long history of abuse and alcoholism. Her sad life story is beginning to be "developed" and publicized. (Remind anyone of KC's case?)

Yes, I pretty much agree with you about Jeremy and Deborah.

In the post you quoted, I was talking about the video with Joe Tacopina and Melanie McGuire.

Just to clarify that there's no confusion :)

I just wanted to make sure this quote got recorded. I think this will set the tone of the defense. They will be saying everything that LE did or does was done wrong.

I really wish every time JT made a statement bashing LE the news agency would run a banner that states 'LE cleared 550 leads in 14 days = just under 40 a day!'

Thank heavens someone is trying to find her! ;)

:cow:

Bill Stanton seemed to think the PD is doing something to find her because he said he forwards his tips to the police dept and said he wasn't going to try and duplicate the work they're doing....

I don't know a lot about detecting lying as it must come natural to me to tell when someone is. This video posted in the media thread by lauriej (thank you!) shows mom looking a lot to the right. Right can be interpreted differently, but there's a lot of info on it. (liar liar possibly?)

May not be the best site but it gives you an idea of what to look for. Deborah does look to the right many time in this video. No wonder the LE are on her, imo. There's better links out there but picked one of the first few.

I myself am left handed and wonder if I look left? lol

It has been stated she is looking at someone. Has nodded and even silently answered the person, mouth moving. So maybe it is an attorney or representative that tells them what they can answer.

I agree. When you're on TV, there are camera people, director, sound guys, etc. The production people can be crawling around on the floor messing with a cable while you're on camera speaking. If you're not used to it, it can be very distracting.

At first I thought she was looking to the right to create stories, but then I realized she's looking at something/someone. I think it's a bit of both, actually.

Im telling u i watched the melanie mcguire trial. I would want my money back if i were her. He was not very good in court and seemed unprepared. Thats just my opinion. I think she is guilty though! moo. He was all talk in front of cameras. moo:innocent:
