The missing Texas mom found dead Thursday repeatedly tried to leave her fiancé and accused him of physically assaulting her, DailyMail.com can disclose.

Photos taken by Heidi Broussard, 33, in March show the injuries she said she had suffered after fiancé Shane Carey attacked her in a row over her wish to leave him.

Law enforcement sources told ABC13 Fieramusca was adamant the baby was hers. Neighbors and her former attorney said Fieramusca appeared to be pregnant recently. Authorities have not found another baby.

The suspect charged with kidnapping the baby, Magen Fieramusca, 33, was childhood friends with Broussard, according to a CN, a woman who knew both of them says they all met at church camp 24 years ago.

On Thursday night, just before the case was cracked open, one of Broussard’s best friends, CN, was a live guest on a podcast called Jay is 4 Justice.

During the interview, information started rolling in about the search at a home on Bo Jack Drive. On air, the Jay is 4 Justice hosts googled the address.

Magen Fieramusca reportedly offered to help find Heidi Broussard
Friends say Magen Fieramusca was calling people, even saying she'd be willing to do interviews to help find the missing mother from Austin, Heidi Broussard.

Now, law enforcement sources in Austin say she was pretending to be pregnant in a plot to steal her best friend's baby.

He's stepped up to help on hundreds of cases, and when Miller got a list of Broussard's friends, Fieramusca was his first call.

"She said, 'Mr. Miller thank you for what you're doing.' She says, 'I'm going to keep talking to people and everything and if I come up with anything, is it OK if I call you?'"

Miller says Fieramusca told him the last time she talked to Broussard was the morning she went missing.

"Well, she (Heidi) was having problems breastfeeding, I (Miller) said nothing else? No, that was it. She was in a good mood just having problems breastfeeding," said Miller.

Austin police confirmed Friday they arrested a person in connection to Broussard’s case on the same charges as Fieramusca. However, authorities would not confirm the person’s identity, citing a need to protect the integrity of the investigation.

Seven days after Broussard and her 3-week-old baby, Margot Carey, were reported missing, authorities said they found Broussard’s body stuffed into the trunk of a different car parked outside of a home in a Northwest Houston suburb.

Broussard was strangled to death with an undisclosed implement, according to the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. Officials have ruled her death a homicide.

Surveillance footage obtained from slain mother Heidi Broussard’s Austin apartment complex showed her willingly getting into a car on December 12 with a woman she had been friends with for years, sources told ABC 13. Heidi was later held against her will, authorities alleged, along with her 3-week-old baby.

The Cy-Fair Fire Department found an infant alive inside the same Houston home on Thursday, believed to be Heidi’s baby girl, Margo. Law enforcement officials said Fieramusca had the baby in an infant swing inside the home and insisted that the child belonged to her.

CG, who was named on Humphrey's baby register, is actually her landlord, DailyMail.com can disclose.

CG, 33, has owned the home since 2015. He has not been charged in connection to the case.

Speaking outside her Houston home, his mother CG2, 54, said her son had been renting the property to Humphrey for two years.

Asked if her son had been in a relationship with Fieramusca, who also went by Humphrey, she said: 'No, she lived there. That was it. She never paid the rent. She was there for two years and never paid a thing.'

However, CG bailed out Fieramusca out of jail in 2018 after she was arrested for theft for allegedly stealing money from an Ace Express check cashing business where she worked as assistant manager. The case was dismissed for lack of evidence.

CG is thought to have no connection with Broussard and was not at the home when her body was discovered.
