How good is your memory of June 4?

Since at least one of my WS colleagues thought this was worthy of its own thread, I'm asking how well you recall events in your day on Friday, June 4.

Can you recall exactly what you did on Friday, June 4? I have an excellent memory and had to check my calendar to jog my thoughts about that day. As soon as I noticed that I had an appointment with my allergy/asthma specialist at 10:00am, I was able to reconstruct the rest of the day until I returned home at @ 2:00pm.

People in Portland/environs are being asked to recall their actions on that day and jog their memories about who they might have seen in such-and-such a place. How well would you do if you were asked to respond to the new questionnaire?

I remember more than I usually would, less than the wonderful Capt. Gates would have me remember. The only reason I remember that day is it was an event I was waiting months for, and within a week of the event I was replaying it in my mind and writing down details in case the information was relevant.

That said, I'm a little taken aback at how little I remember. I had a long drive to and from, our eventual departure was delayed by a chatty teen unaware of the dire effects of charging a cel phone via the car battery for hours on end. There are little details I tried my darndest to remember, but I can not.

That said, given that I have brain damage, I guess I do pretty well. :)

I have a terrible memory, but considering that Kyron's missing was reported immediately, perhaps people's memory would be a lot better (?) regarding their whereabouts and details of that day?

I agree that people associated with the school would remember more than most of us, but I am doubtful that other vehicles, unless they almost their car, or got out and walked in front of them, for example, would be part of the memory. They have likely played the day out in their heads from the time they left home until at least early afternoon or later, recalling where they went and what they did, but mostly probably focused on being in the school, if they were, and what went on there. I think most people who saw the truck would have responded way back in mid-June to the first flyer.
