Body found in N. Idaho's Pend Oreille River
An autopsy is scheduled Monday for an as-yet unidentified male body found in the Pend Oreille River in northern Idaho.
An employee of the Pend Oreille Valley Railroad spotted the body at about 9:15 a.m. on Friday at mile post 19 on U.S. Highway 2 near Johnson Creek.
Lt. Doug Harris, of the Bonner County Sheriff's Office, says no identification has been made, but that all signs point to the body having been in the water for "an extended period of time."

I wonder how long they consider an "extended period of time"???
