Truthfully that's where my mind went first, as well, but I think he would have left them in Idaho if that's what they were used for.
Or possibly to not leave evidence to be found in Idaho and to say they are ZP so they couldn’t possibly have been used in Idaho. o_O Unless they tried to get prints off of them (which I’m not sure they would because AC didn’t have burns so they weren’t looking for this) so there’s no proof. It was all speculation and stood out to me from the video.

All jmo moo imo

Wasn't Tylee's body burned by a blowtorch? That sounds more like a welding type of blow torch? Not one used to caramelize sugar on creme brulee.

I don't know much about blow torches. And seriously, the jurors on this trial better have a stronger constitution than I do...just thinking about the autopsy reports makes me ill.

Idk if we know how exactly.

All jmo moo imo

ETA: I relistened to this video ( Justin Lum Fox 10 Phoenix ),it sounds like more than one blowtorch. Idk what that means though. And just saying again they could belong to anyone and it doesn’t mean this is connected.

I hope RW has access to these full videos shared by Justin Lum and reports if anything is connected and can help bring justice to everyone who crossed the unfortunate paths of CD and LVD.

ETA: no clue if there’s any connections but hope this is helpful somehow

The little ones are sold in smoker's shops and gas stations. They are used for heating glass pipes in what is called "dabbing" marijuana resin, so called because you just use a small amount. This would have been just prior to legalization in AZ, I think; so the cops might have been focused on that wondering if illegal drugs were at play.

They mentions Cialis, anyone know more about what this is used for. Attaching a link about the drug I found online: Cialis Uses, Dosage & Side Effects - Drugs.com

ETA: besides erectile disfuction, could it be used for anything else?

Cialis (generic: tadalafil) is primarily used for ED on an as needed basis. But it can also be prescribed for daily use for treatment of pulmonary hypertension and urinary symptoms associated with BPH.

First post, so I had to separate (sorry in advance!!)

Biggest concern with these meds (Viagra, Cialis, Levitra) is that they CANNOT be used with a nitrate, like nitroglycerin - it can cause fatal hypotension (low blood pressure). From her reports (taken with a grain of salt) he's pretty healthy and (JMO) doesn't sound like he has a significant cardiac history. But the interaction is significant nonetheless!

ETA: 51-year-old males = great candidates for ED and/or BPH. A basic postmortem toxicology screen would not test for these medications or their metabolites but an expanded screen certainly may and would be useful for any investigation

And who knows what "medications" he was getting from Mexico o_O
"He went to Mexico the next day to pick up prescription meds for himself and Zulema.

Oh good point.

They also have a lot of uses for crafts and home repairs, I am told. Not being crafty or handy myself...

I was beading at a bead shop. Another lady came in who decided not to bead but work on metal work, making bracelets and earrings. Next thing I heard was a loud sound.....she had brought a pretty large blow torch. That size could have done some real harm....it was a lot larger then what is used in cooking/kitchens. I would be real interested to see/hear what size of low torch was brought in.

I asked her why she had such a big one....because she was working with metals. Did anyone metal jewelry work?

Maybe if you don't want to traumatize them, you shouldn't send your child there to be the one to find him knowing there is a problem.

Sure went for her lawyer quickly and she's the one with the use immunity
I realize the videos are all split up and don't show the entire event, but from what little we do see I sure found her reaction and response in the videos rather... perplexing. For example:

  • She questioned why the police needed a search warrant to search her house.
  • In relation to the above, when the police explained that it was because he died there and therefore they needed to search the house as part of their investigation she insisted that Alex had died at the hospital and not her house.
  • She was clearly distraught (in my opinion) that the police were investigating his death, rather than the more important fact that, well, you know, he had just died!?
  • She was more concerned that the police were there 'traumatizing' her children, rather than the fact that her new husband had just died and how that might affect her children.
  • She had apparently left the house (and her children) to go speak with her lawyer? (From what I could make out, it also seemed like she had already retained an attorney prior to all of this happening? So what would cause her to retain a lawyer before AC died, and to have an apparent fear of the police?)
This all strikes me as odd and very unusual behavior for someone whose spouse just died. Other than calling 911 (and wasn't it her son that called 911?) there was no apparent interest with working with LE to find out what was going on or why he died. Instead she displayed a seemingly irrational fear of the police and any investigation into her husband's death. Why is this? What might explain her behavior in the videos we do see?

MOO.

I’ve seen small ones on cooking shows too where they make fancy dessert.

Thank you! This is very helpful information.

I’m confused on when this call took place. It sounds like it happens after the police/emts took AC away. So did ZP leave her kids there while the police were still searching? Which kids? I thought it was just her son who lived there. If her kids were so traumatized, why wouldn’t she take them out of the house?

All jmo moo imo
I thought the kids were young adults and the daughter lived elsewhere.

When they married Alex took ZP's last name. My assumption is so that he could evade police.

I wonder how the police first linked him with the name Cox, and their prior investigation, on the day of his death, and if ZP ever gave his name as AP.

Hmm now I’m not sure. If someone else knows the information could you jump in?

Otherwise I’ll go search and see what I can find
I remember reading her son lived there and her daughter moved out when Alex moved in. Daughter said (paraphrasing) she was fed up with living with her mom's boyfriends. It was in the police reports previously linked.

My guess is that he had not changed his name on his driver's license yet.
