Are they being more careful and thorough with Tammy's? Wouldn't they carefully compare the two since its likely they died by the same means? MOO

I do have a few suggestions for the abbreviations:
(to avoid confusion for those who may be catching up from the beginning)

(1) Alex Cox has also been mentioned with some frequency by the initials AxC, so it would be helpful to mention that;

(2) IIRC, Joe Ryan has also been mentioned occasionally by the initials JAR (Joseph Anthony Ryan, Jr), so it would be helpful to mention that;

(3) Both Lori and Melani remarried in the past year, so two sets of initials have been used for them - LV or LVD for Lori and MB or MBP for Melani, so it would be helpful to mention that; and

(4) SD is used twice (for both Sheila Daybell and Seth Daybell). Since those initials HAVE been used interchangeably for those two individuals, perhaps a note to each indicating so and that the reader will have to use context clues.

amended (7/2/20) charged with resisting or obstructing LE, solicitation & contempt of court.

And then for the Fremont County charges -
Charged (6/30/20) with 2 counts of conspiracy to commit destruction, alteration or concealment of evidence.
I have 8/10 - 8/11 for these.

And if I am understanding this above correctly - the Fremont County prosecutor is "handing over" to the Madison County Pro Wood the charges in Fremont County. So everything she is charged with will be on 8/10 & 8/11 ??

But the article said the hearing of 8/10 & 8/11 is in Fremont County.... I think I'm really confused now... o_O :oops: :rolleyes:

Desertion charges dropped against Lori Vallow Daybell | East Idaho News

REXBURG — Two felony counts of desertion and nonsupport of children against Lori Vallow Daybell were dismissed Thursday.

Court records indicate Daybell is still charged with misdemeanor counts of resisting and obstructing an officer, solicitation of a crime and contempt of court.

The hearing in August is in Fremont - but it is being handled by the Madison County Prosecutor.

A search incident to an arrest is much different than seizing property of a person not under arrest. Therefore, it would be reasonable to search digital devices following or in conjunction with an arrest. To obtain a warrant to search a phone owned by a party not under arrest would require a specific showing of information making it likely that searching the device would produce evidence of the commission of a crime. A “fishing expedition“ is frowned upon. If you want to really get into specifics here is a link to 300 pages that guide the department of justice with regard to obtaining warrants for digital evidence.
