What about truancy? Do parents that home school their children need to prove they are actually doing so in Idaho? I recall Lori telling the school that JJ would no longer attend because he was being home schooled. (They need to get her on something)
There have been so many cases where children have been pulled out of school to be home schooled and never to be seen again. Always a red flag for me in these circumstances.

Yes,
I’ll try this a different way. The prosecutors wanted her to stay in jail or have bond set at an amount she couldn’t pay. The defense wanted her out of jail and set an an amount she could pay. Based on the testimony in Hawaii Chad had access to approx 150K. If forced to pay the full 10% he has those resources. The judge knew it, the defense knew it and the prosecutor knew it. Bail was set in a range that Chad was known to have. Defense won.
Yes, but this will leave them in financial straits, I would think. She doesn't work, he doesn't work. The money is going fast. The fact that Tammy is financing all of this is really abhorrent.

That was where I think Chad stretched his neck to try and catch her eyes, but from his face, it doesn’t look like they connected. Perhaps the lawyer inadvertently got in the way.

You could be right but what do you think of this shot? They stay in this position for a second or two and it seems to me they see each other. After she turns away, he kind of nods and seems satisfied to me. Not that it matters that much but it does seem they both sought a “moment” and got it. If so, it shows a united front despite having separate counsel. MOO

Was just going to say the same thing. Where do you get all that make up in jail?? Maybe her defense attorney brought it to her. Looks like she had false eyelashes on too. Earth to Lori: Makeup doesn't look cool with jail garb. Makeup doesn't hide your evil core.
Yes I noticed that she had eyebrows today... good for her. ( sarcasm)
I hope her lawyers ask her outright .... can you produce the kids? If she says no then maybe one or two of them will withdrawal from being her counsel. JMO

I still have a small hope that LVD sees herself as a martyr and has the children held somewhere with the part of the chosen and is going to say she’s held them there to be safe and she was willing to go to jail to not give up where they were to keep safe for the end of time belief and eventually she’d produce them and at the same time it’d draw people to chads “visions “ and books

it’s unlikely but still it’s my hope and prayers
I think she sees herself as a higher being and other people as unworthy to ask questions about her kids' whereabouts.

If you call having it cost somewhere up to 100,000 of the dollars Chad has to get her out of jail (but confined to 4 counties with monitoring) while this is pending a win, then I guess it is a win. Personally, in Chad's place, I wouldn't feel like I'd just won anything right now. The $50,000 tops (cost them $5,000) the defense asked for would be a win. Something in excess of that, probably a win. But I think they passed the win line well before the million mark.

I mean could she have possibly gotten her nose any higher? MOO
On another note, so happy to hear Grandpa and his high hopes for the kids. I keep going back in forth, maybe they are alive somewhere. I feel like they (KW & LW) have to know more than we do at this point. He was so positive during the presser? I guess that was considered a presser?

The conditions of Lori Vallow's reduced bond:

1. There needs to be a waiver of extradition signed from any and all jurisdictions and returned to the court.

2. Required not to leave the following counties: Bonneville, Jefferson, Madison and Freemont.

3. Ankle monitor must be placed on Lori and it will be monitored 24/7.

4. She must appear in all court hearings, she must maintain contact with her counsel, she must abide by all laws of Idaho, the country, the county (Madison) and the city (Rexburg).

Lori Vallow, mom of two missing kids, has bail reduced to $1 million

So let's just say she bails out in the next day. Chad pays 100k that he doesn't get back.
Then further charges are brought against her and she is re arrested.

Does he get a refund?
Probably not? She back in jail - he's out 100k. Nice?
He will still get to keep the down payment. It’s only if she is out and doesn’t show up for court... that he loses his $100 000. Now if she is rearrested and her bail is set for $5000000 then he would need to come up with another $400 000. If bail is revoked then he will get some of that money back because she will obviously show up for next appearance. I am sure that the bail bondsman would get a few in that instance but not all $100 000. That’s how it works in CAN so it’s JMO

We've established that their views diverge greatly from mainstream LDS belief, but if they are using that as a basis at all for their own beliefs on the afterlife, the LDS religion is actually pretty compassionate when it comes to suicide. The belief is that we cannot judge those who commit suicide, God will ultimately make judgment, and that judgment will take into account mental health, circumstances, etc. So no, I wouldn't think they equate suicide with a ticket to hell.

Ah, ok. Thank you for setting me straight about LDS theology. IF they are using LDS theology, I guess it could go either way.....in their own deluded brains they could think that they are indeed doing God's work and he will take mercy on them.

I hope they don't do this.

I think the judge acted fairly. If they get her out on bail, I don't think she's going anywhere. MOO

I Agree. They seem to make a connection here. Her attorney also seems to facilitate the connection and then follow up with a confirmation if sorts. IMO

Wouldn't you, if you were Chad Daybell, be a teensy bit worried about your safety? I mean, if he knows anything, wouldn't he be a little afraid of the black widow behavior of this woman? Men and children and a woman just seem to drop in her wake.

No worries now that her angel of death, Alex, is no longer available.

And if he is eventually arrested... there might not be any for him...
