Truly a Dollar Store Lawyer. Talked in circles for over an hour making very little sense. I’m convinced the prosecutor could have stood up and said “we stand on our written objections” with the same outcome. Lolo has to be worried about her future witnessing that comedy show that just played out. I have seen a lot of lousy lawyers, heard crazy bad arguments in 100’s of cases but this guy is now number 1 on my list of imbeciles. The preliminary should be equally entertaining assuming he’s still employed. I’d almost pay admission to watch this guy redefine inept.

I give the judge so much credit, she seemed to be able to make sense of all his babble.I hope chaddy boy was watching and is smart enough to realize this is his lawyer too now, and he is in some deeper you know what than before, I would like to know how this guy passed the bar.?

That is what a "sealing" means for most members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. However, for Chad it appears to be something completely different and not in harmony with the Church's definition.

He lists Joseph Ryan as a level 4.3 Dark spirit (whatever that even means. He didn't pick up this teaching from the Church, but either picked it up from someone else, or made it up himself). This is apparently a bad thing and, according to Chad, "4.1 and above have made covenants to their side. They rarely switch sides." Meaning, as I understand it, Chad and/or his followers believe JR (being a level 4.3 dark spirit) made covenants with Satan to work for him and is therefore evil incarnate and is likely beyond redemption ("they rarely switch sides.").

My best educated guess is that Chad's saying that JR is "sealed away" is either 1) some twisted perversion of the Church's doctrine of "sealing" (i.e. JR made a marriage covenant of sorts with Satan?), or 2) some kind of reference to the sons of perdition, of whom it might be said that their fate is "sealed" to be cast into a lake of fire and brimstone with the devil and his angels, according to the scriptures (see Doctrine and Covenants 76:31-38). I'm guessing this latter one is what he has in mind since he says that JR is a dark (or evil) spirit.

Either way, Chad's beliefs as written in that email are completely foreign to and/or a twisted perversion of the teachings of the Church.

And what's also disturbing is that he lists Tylee as a level 4.1 dark spirit, meaning they also believed she was beyond redemption and likely wouldn't ever become a "light" spirit. The reason I find this disturbing is because it provides motive for why Tylee, Lori's own daughter, "disappeared" before JJ did, something I could never figure out before now. JJ is listed as a 4.2 Light spirit, but then probably "turned dark" after Tylee "disappeared" and so they felt he needed to be "disappeared" too. I feel sick. MOO.

Still catching up, so don't know if anyone has looked at this. What is the date of this newly released email and what is the date of death of Joseph Ryan? Same year right. What months? Sorry, I didn't look that close. Trying to get to the end of this thread quick to see if she made bond but don't want to let this go.

Also, IMO, this list shows CD sized up the people who he thought could cause him problems in terms of getting in the way of what he wanted (Lori). He likely was able to glean a lot from Lori about the people before he came up with this brilliant manipulation of her. He likely always knew Tylee would question things and be a voice of reason as a protector of her mother and JJ, likely knew Alex would follow Lori's lead til he was no longer of use, likely knew that once he had Lori's immediate family, all the inlaws would have to fade to the dark side, likely knew JR was already a problem due to Tylee so she was on the dark side for multiple reasons. All the inlaws were on the dark side and replaced by people on the light side. Charles was on the light side in the beginning because CD needed to earn LV's trust. How could he do that if she immediately thought he just wanted her let's say, for other reasons. So, slowly Charles went to the dark side.

I have never been confident who of these two idiots was in charge. But, there has always been one thing that has given me pause about it being Lori. I've not mentioned it here but it's just nagged at me for a long long time. The Hawaiian video news escort by our favorite Idaho reporter. There are two key moments in that video in response to two key questions that Lori was asked when Lori tilts her smug face and glances at Chad through her Hollywood sunglasses. I've constantly been trying to figure out if she did it to see if he'd crack, or did it to look for some sign she should answer the question. That is, out of desire to control him, or her habit of being controlled by him??? So, I looked at his face at those moments too. Then, I'm back to "stone cold" or "dufas"???

This is a serious question. What duty, if any, does a judge have if they believe an attorney presenting in their court is incompetent? If there is no duty is there a way a judge can suggest defendant consider change of council, or must they just sit by and cringe when the attorney speaks, pointing out each individual error of law?

I was just going to point this out. We really should want her to have an attorney that is competent so she doesn't get an appeal. This guy was an absolute train wreck.
