only for *Lori Norene Vallow-Daybell (46/now 47) arrested (in Hawaii) &
charged (2/20/20) & arraigned (3/6/20) with 2 counts of felony desertion & nonsupport of dependent children, resisting or obstructing LE, criminal solicitation to commit a crime & contempt of court. $5M bond. Bond reduced (3/6/20) to $1M.
Charged (6/29/20) with 2 counts of conspiracy to commit destruction, alteration or concealment of evidence. Bond set at $1M.
3/5/20 Update: Motions filed by defendant: Request to obtain approval to video/audio record, broadcast or photograph a court proceeding, specific request for discovery. Motion for relief from prejudicial joinder. 3/6/20: Preliminary hearing set for 3/18/20. Order reducing bail & conditions of bail. Bail set at $1M with conditions: a waiver of extradition must be signed, must not leave Bonneville, Jefferson, Madison & Fremont Counties, must wear ankle monitor, it will monitor 24 hours a day 7 days a week & amended (4/2/20) while under the order to wear an ankle monitor, intentionally leaving the area of restriction, except for the purpose of obtaining emergency medical care, may be prosecuted as the crime of escape, defendant must appear for all court appearances & maintain contact with her counsel, must abide by all the laws of this state, this country & this city & defendant shall provide under seal to the Court the address at which she shall reside.

3/11/20 Update: Stipulation filed by defense to move preliminary hearings from 3/18 & 3/19 to 5/7 & 5/8/20-granted. And defense files motion to dismiss.
3/16/20: Motion: Declared notice of non-objection to withdrawal of the Law firm of Brian Webb & attorney Edwina E. Elcox by Mark L. Means.
4/9/20: Motion for bond reduction hearing on 4/17/20. And motion filed for order to seal regarding defendants residence upon release. 4/14/20: Motion for bond reduction hearing moved to 4/24/20. 4/28/20: Motion to vacate & reset bond reduction hearing to 5/1/20 & motion to vacate & reset preliminary on 5/7 & 5/8/20-granted. 4/30/20: State's 2nd objection to defendant's declared motion for bond reduction. And preliminary hearing set for 7/9 & 7/10/20.
5/5/20 Update: Motion for bond reduction-denied. 5/7/20: State's Motion to Squash: the subpoena duces tecum directed to the Madison County Sheriff's Office. The subpoena is unreasonable & oppressive because it 1) requests info the State is not required to provide in a criminal proceeding, and 2) asks for identical info requested in the defendant's Request for Discovery dated 4/28/20. State requests a hearing on this motion & will make oral argument at that time. 5/18/20: Defendant's Request for Discovery filed.
6/10/20: Motion for release to defense counsel re Search Warrant #2020-68, but kept sealed to public. Guardianship hearing on 9/30/20.
6/16/20 Update: Request to obtain approval to video/audio record, broadcast or photograph a court proceeding filed by Eric Grossarth of East Idaho News. & same motion filed by Jessica Thill of Court TV Media, LLC.
6/19/20: Motion to withdraw appearance of counsel filed-Attorney: Carol Hamilton O’Brien.
6/20/20: Authorities used the pings from the cell phone of the brother of Vallow when determining where to search for the remains of her missing children, according to a probable cause affidavit. According to the affidavit, Vallow's brother, Alex Cox, went to Daybell's property four times in September, and two of those visits came the days after each of the children were last seen. Cox, who died in December, went to Yellowstone National Park on September 8 with Vallow & the two children. It was the last time Tylee was seen. Police say that tracking the phone's location puts Cox in Vallow's apartment three times immediately after the trip to Yellowstone, with the final visit beginning at 2:42 a.m. on September 9.

6/29/20 Update: Vallow was charged late Monday with 2 counts of conspiracy to commit destruction, alteration or concealment of evidence. Hearing for new charges scheduled on 6/30/20 @ 4:30pm will appear remotely from the Madison County jail.
