I suspect Tylee wasn't on board with whatever her mother was doing by this point in time.

That's what I want to know. One of the Jeeps was apparently impounded, but mention had been made several times that led me to think all along that there were two different Jeeps. Alex's truck was in Idaho at one point; did he take it back to Arizona and where is it now? Where is the Rogue, the Kia, the Infiniti... and what is that white vehicle shown in that garage? I thought at one point Alex was mentioned as also having a car - if so, what is it and where is it? And where the heck are all these vehicles? And did Chad leave his normal transportation behind?

Bailey had to go, because she already intended to disappear the kids... and possibly the dog was protective of JJ and/or Tylee.

The whole cease and desist nonsense is worth an eyeroll at best, anyway. WS can respect their request if they like, and I'll honor that here, but IT DOESN'T WORK THAT WAY. A company doesn't get to declare that people - or the media - can't discuss or report on their behavior and associations, any more than random people who make faces at reporters get to demand the reporter not report on them or the people they're connected with. See how MSM is ignoring the C&D? It's cuz they're well aware it doesn't have any teeth in the first place.

There was a Cherokee, or at least a second Jeep, mentioned way back somewhere. I had notes about it from the early threads. Or maybe it was pictures/video that showed one type of Jeep and discussion was about another type, leading me to write down two different Jeeps way way back. I don't remember, and I won't have time to hunt for whatever to back up my memory until at least Tuesday.

OK, this has been bothering me since the very first time I saw Chad and Lori's pictures. WHY DO THEY LOOK FAMILIAR? Both of them. And the kids do not. It may be just that they have a fairly common look about them, I don't know. But I've wondered since the very beginning of the case if they had any connections to Oregon or Washington. I also made a road trip in October that took me through Idaho and Utah. (And I am not good with faces, other than "I've seen this person before", it's pretty normal for me to recognize a face and have no idea whatever what the person's name is, or where I've seen them before. Even acquaintances I've seen somewhat regularly... all it takes is the person being out of the normal context.)

November 5th was a Tuesday, so I'd bet it was a lot easier to get a last-minute photo shoot for an hour than it would be for other days... and I'd bet Hawaii has a plethora of photographers to choose from.

How in the heck did she ever get custody of Tylee in the first place?
---------------------------------
I wonder if Annie the aunt would be willing to join us here? Would it be kosher to invite her?

I cannot freaking believe those photos. Except of course I can. It's just that ridiculous.

RE: the instagram with Lolo/Summy. I swear I found it before, and am not seeing it now. Maybe I have the ID wrong, I don't seem to have written it down. Would the person who mentioned it please check on it and make sure it's still visible?

Great observations!

Because, if it is true he said when Tammy passes he was getting out of the book business, that has come to pass. So is that proof his visions are authentic or that he is a murderer and manipulator?
I don’t believe any rational person thinks his visions are authentic. He has already proven himself to be a liar, as stated by LE. I think his own words on his own website demonstrate him to be a manipulator, as when described using supposed visions from family to manipulate Tammy into stopping the playing of a computer game that gave her joy. He similarly used supposed visions to manipulate Tammy into leaving a job, friends and family to go to Idaho, which she really did not want to do. If Chad does, in fact, want to get out of the book business, he must have some other major source of income, or must feel strongly that he can’t go back to that life, or feels that he no longer needs it, due to some other plan. IMO.

I hope you don’t have any issue with me, Tresir2012. I’m just trying to share what I know first hand. I submitted long ago to be a VI, and I still await verification. But I personally know at least two other VI, and I can easily be verified, once someone makes the effort. My goal is that the missing kids are safe, if even possible, that those who have been harmed are avenged, (Tammy, and others) and that those who committed any atrocities be prevented from doing more, and pay for what they have done. If I can help that by correcting perceived red herrings, I will do so. MHO.

I actually think Chad has his end times fantasies. All his life people have largely ignored his fantasies as just that. They probably humored him but that was about it. I'm talking about family, not his followers. He wrote about them in his books. Lori read the books and is giving him an opportunity to live out his fantasies. I don't think she is too bright nor is she a leader. Chad strikes me as reasonably intelligent and definitely a leader.

This is my theory as well. She is a dangerous psychopath and manipulative.

She provided validation for his fantasies.

The combination of two sick personalities led to murder.

Hi @Randocalrissian

He strikes me as a typical conman / grifter - is that your view?

Such people are common in this space unfortunately. They prey on needy people.

I've been trying to get to the bottom of the dates/times and comings and goings at the storage unit. I've transcribed the video commentary and described what footage is being simultaneously shown underneath in brackets.

What’s emerged is that the seat and tire removal visit is not on Wed 2nd October. I know that much because in the footage showing the ‘d ‘ (which has to be Wed) she unlocks the unit, and in the undated footage shown 12 seconds later it shows a different arrival and unlocking, before the seat and tire are taken out.

I think it likely the tire and seat were put in the unit on 2nd and taken out on the 3rd. Although it hardly seems worth storing them for one night, unless they were anticipating a visit from police and needed to hide them, but why not think ahead and wait until afternoon to hide them? IMO it must be something nefarious because it’s work to travel and unload at the unit and go back for them, rather than leaving them in a home garage if extra space is needed in the car for a night. Perhaps the Jeep had to be quickly abandoned because of the failed murder attempt, and they didn’t want to be stopped driving it back, knowing BB was still alive, but they had planned to replace them in the Jeep that same day. Then decided to move them again on the 3rd.

RSBM

This is fascinating @Tortoise

As you note, it is quite strange to be in and out of your storage so regularly unless you are using it for business? Like a tire is the kind of thing I store in storage, but obviously not if I need to get it again anytime soon.

The fact that they are taking items in AND OUT suggests this is actually the staging area for an activity with a whole bunch of items that don't belong at the house. What could that be? And why is Alex seemingly involved in it?

When I first met him 18 years ago, he had already written a few of his fictional books. He and Tammy were still working for another book publisher, and he was helping that publisher to land authors that I respected. He seemed humble, low key, and caring. Over the years, as he started his own company, and tried to attract new authors, he found a niche in other folks who had similar beliefs in the end of days circumstances that his fiction mirrored. And his fiction was created around other people’s visions, as well. As his focus turned completely to that, including his seeking out like minded visionaries, and helping them write books that fit in with his fiction, I believe he got caught up in the attention, and notoriety he began to receive. He was angry and humiliated when his books were pulled from LDS bookstores. After he moved to Idaho, I believe he went deeper into delusion, and got caught up in the traveling conference group, that came out of his AVOW group. I think he really believed in the end of days stuff that he read and wrote about. But I think years of predictions not coming true, and a falling out of some of his authors from good standing in the LDS community eventually had some impact on him. I wonder if he realizes that what he once believed is false, or if he even cares about it any more. I suspect that this former high school football state champion finally has the pretty cheerleader that he always wished for, and if he and Lori have some way of living the high life, it seems he is happy to leave everything else behind. It makes me truly sad for his children, Tammy’s family, and all of the other victims left behind their wake.

I really thought they were Mormon.. I think the husband is. And Alyssa's parents and whole family ARE in Gilbert. From old old posts on her husband's facebook site. The "language" he uses sounds quite Mormon to me...and HIS brother went to BYU in Rexburg--our key city. AND Alyssa Romine Olson's whole family is right in Gilbert, and still are and THEY post on Facebook too. Seriously there are some real geographic matches with Idaho, AZ AND Washington state. BUT I have had a very hard time trying to track down where Alyssa's husband, Braden Tate Olson is.. Years ago, he was quite a poster on FB, and now I can't find any authentic locations where he might be. His mother always posts about her four sons...but nothing about/with Braden in a very long time.

Thank you for answering. From what I saw when I glanced at Alyssa's very short WS thread, I don't think most of this information has come up there.

Back to Lori and Chad: the 700 photos don't surprise me - they're digital, so it's not expensive for a photographer to point and click repeatedly to get just the right shot. For my son's wedding, the photographer put over 5000 "proofs" online for us and other family and friends to select from and have printed and framed, or bound in an album. (2+ years on we still haven't managed to weed through them all, because it's an utterly ridiculous number.) Now if L&C ordered a print of each shot, that would be a whopper of a price tag! But I suspect the shots we're seeing come straight from the photographer's website.

As for the bubbly beverage in L&C's toasting glasses, I tried to zoom in on the bottle, but I couldn't get a screencap at high enough resolution to read the label. The mouth of the bottle does not look like a champagne/sparkling wine bottle to me, and the lower half of the bottle appears too narrow, but I'm not widely versed in such things. My guess would be Martinelli's or a similar non-alcoholic sparkling beverage, not Dom Pérignon, but that's JMO.

I cannot even imagine what the Daybell children think of these photos, knowing they were taken days after their mother's burial. I have found their actions thus far to be inexplicable, but they have my empathy tonight as they try to reconcile these images of a celebration they weren't part of with what they thought their family life was until mid-October.

Somehow I don't see Chad's children changing their attitude towards this case after seeing the wedding photos. If they were able to accept his reasoning for remarrying so quickly, they'll believe anything he tells them in regard to the photos.

Aunt Of Missing Idaho Girl Addresses Disappearance For First Time

9 Feb 2020

[...]

Cushing said she also noticed Tylee and Vallow had a strained relationship.

“There was also a lot of tension between Tylee and Lori,” Cushing said, adding that Vallow didn’t allow the two to spend much time together alone.

Bolded by OP, snipped for focus.

I think this is the first time we've heard from someone directly connected to them that Tylee and Lori didn't get along, and Tylee didn't willingly do whatever her mom wanted.

Good for Tylee. But it's another indicator that Tylee was in immediate peril, and not only JJ. Narcissists don't take being thwarted or defied lightly. They view it as an existential threat, and try to retaliate accordingly.

Agree, regarding the photography. In Hawaii, for those wanting to wed, you find a person licensed and find the right beach, and snap away. Not as easy as Las Vegas but pretty close.

Did anyone notice MV comments on Tylee's aunt's timeline?

Like most others here, we all hope for the best for these kids. It may not be a realistic expectation, based on all we have learned.

Have we considered perhaps IP was mistakenly identified as AC at either the storage unit or driving the jeep on October 2nd? I'm starting to think having AC seen on footage on this day was definitely intentional...

The charge of murder requires proof of premeditation and I think that FBI and local LE is looking at homicide, and I say that only based on publicly available information on this case, at this time. This does not include charges related to the children.

Thanks for the heads up. Good to hear the timeline from a family source and yeah, that comment is disturbing.

I'm not convinced it's her. Didn't spell her own name right? Really?
