ignore threads?

is there a way to or block threads?

I think there isn't a thread-specific way, but there is one work-around I have used for those occasions when a spammer attacks the forum and mods haven't got around to dealing with them yet, which is to put the thread starter on ignore (click on or hover over the username and then click on the ignore button).

Yes, that is the only way I have found as well. It does help. And if you ignore the starter when the thread is first started, before there are any replies, that thread doesn’t show up in my feed when I’m able to do that.
