MINOOKA, IL — Friends say a 40-year-old Minooka woman hasn't been seen since the afternoon on March 21 and they're asking anyone who spots her to notify authorities. According to friends, Tina Saunders was last seen at around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday driving in Morris after stopping at her stepdaughter's home. While her married name is Saunders, friends say she is divorced and previously went by her maiden name, Tina Irving.

Friend Joanne Speiser Bernat said Tina has brown hair and blue eyes and several distinctive tattoos on her arms, including one with a tree that reads "Que Sera Sera." She drives a Gray Ford Escape with a small dent on the right side panel and the license plate 343-4521.

Seems she has some history of mental illness and even recently. It also seemed stuff was missing from her house....

According to the Minooka, IL police department, her phone last pinged in New Orleans on March 23.

The Minooka Police Deaprtment announced Friday that Tina Saunders, 40, of Minooka, who had been missing since March 22, was located by Idaho State Police.

What was she doing in Idaho? That's quite far from Illinois. Oh, well, I'm glad she was found safe!

The release said Saunders had told the trooper she had been to California and Oregon and no longer had her cell phone because she sold it for gas money and that she was returning home at the time.

So it sounds like she just went on vacation without telling anyone? :thinking:
