If this is the MP, im assuming family had her declared dead. With the vagueness of the mp report, i wonder if she died on that date, and was buried, cremated etc. It wouldnt hurt to reach out to LE.

If she was legitimately missing at that time, this may have just been a formality that the courts needed to do in order to take direct guardianship
