COURT DOCS: on October 26 Allen voluntarily came to police and said he never allowed anyone to use or borrow his gun. When they asked him about the unspent bullet he said he didn’t have an explanation as to why the bullet was found between the bodies of the two victims.

Ok interesting read.

1. No mention of another suspect. At all. In fact it emphatically states RA is the only suspect.

2. An unspent bullet from RA’s gun was found two feet from one of the girls’ bodies.

3. Several witnesses saw a man who looks like the man in the video around that time. Variations on clothing but mostly say what we’ve seen in the video is what the man they saw was wearing, though another says all black. As for height, a witness said “no taller than 5’10”.”

4. The PCA corroborates that RA voluntarily stated he was in the area at the time.

5. There’s some confusion about the car. One of the witnesses said they say a white Smart car, and the PCA states that a “smart car” is consistent with the grey Ford Focus that RA owns.

6. RA and his wife both confirm he owns blue jeans and a blue jacket.

Not a whole lot else. It all comes down to why his bullet was in the area the girls were found. Gonna be an interesting trial alright.

We are working to get access to the court documents and will update this article with findings from the records once we get them.
Regarding the following for your article (also linked below):

The document also says police found a .40 caliber unspent round between the girls. The round had extraction marks on it.

Extractor Marks

Another action mark, usually found in a striated form, are those created by the extractor of most auto-loading or repeating firearms. The extractor is a small part sometimes resembling a hook that is used to remove a cartridge or cartridge case from the chamber of a firearm. The image below shows the extractor of a 9mm GLOCK pistol hooked into the extractor groove of a cartridge. As the slide of the pistol moves to the rear, the extractor pulls the cartridge case along with it until it is ejected from the pistol.

The extractor may or may not leave an identifiable mark on the cartridge case. This is true if the cartridge is fired or simply hand chambered and extracted without firing. Extractor marks may look like those seen in the comparison image below.

OK not sure if this worst case scenario but if this is all they have its pretty weak. I think he definitely 100% did it but a conviction with just this is going to be tough.

Also we should have been where we are now in 2017 i think hiding this was is part of the desire to keep things seal. The idea that the prosecutor think someone else is involved seems to be fiction based in this PCA. NEVER just take LEs word for it.

Yeah, it seems to be a stretch for an arrest. Cycled bullets are lost in the wilderness all the time. Just look at the Debbie Collier case. A news crew found an unspent bullet there at the scene, after it had been searched.

With all these witnesses on the trail, and a lone witness 50 feet from him while he was on the bridge before the girls were even there, parked so his license plate was hidden, and armed with a gun and likely knife, I get the feeling RA knew the girls were going to be at the bridge and when, and was waiting for them specifically. JMO.

Am I alone in thinking this is… really not much? An unspent bullet in a place he already admitted to going to?

IMO it’s clear why they didn’t want this made public.
His defense attorneys must be salivating at the prospects of defending him if ISP arrested him for only this.
