I feel pretty sure that nothing will happen when the two weeks are up—except that the families will be barraged with questions.

I believe that ‘two weeks’ was just to try to give the families a respite from reporters. I hope I’m wrong. (I’m not meaning to be totally negative about the state of the investigation—just that I doubt that ‘two weeks’ refers to it.)

I’m right there with you. Still, there’s a lingering hope they do have DNA and are working it behind the scenes. Fingers crossed.

There is no quote from LE saying that they are using the same technique. The article doesn’t even mention how they know this or who told them this. The article is from last July. Something doesn’t add up. If they truly have DNA and used Cece Moore/Parabon then why the need to put out new sketch and then ask for a two week reprieve? I am waiting to see what happens next Monday when the two weeks are up.

Parabon portraits are only one part of the services their lab offers; the article seems to be talking about the family geneology aspect to trace relatives.

If they have an eyewitness sketch, there's no reason to use a Parabon sketch. The DNA markers give a generalized face that's a big improvement over many forensic reconstructions for deceased people, but unlikely to be better than what they have.

I suppose if time passes and they don't get results from this sketch, they might want to go the Parabon route and confirm their witness.

I hope LE have DNA they believe will directly prove the guilt of one person but I can also understand why they’d want the murderer to sweat over the possibility as well.

It absolutely was projected on the screen, for all to see. Right at the end of the 4/22 PC, which is linked on Page 1. It was visible nearly as long as they focused on the new sketch.

My doubt is caused by no source is indicated. Unless LE directly disclose the information, what’s reported by the media is not always correct if their source happens to be unreliable. That this information hasn’t been confirmed by LE suggests they refuse to do so, still leaving the same question mark IMO

(FCA= felon Casey Anthony, or perhaps another word for felon.)

I did not follow this site during that trial. Bit that is good there was recognition.

Oh I wasn't saying your reply was irrelevant. I was saying that someone's personal reasons for not wanting to submit DNA to a genealogy company wouldn't be relevant to the issue of whether someone connected to Delphi has discouraged a relative from doing so, since the murders.
