I think an arrest is coming very soon imo. The police are building a strong case so when it goes to the prosecutor there's no way for the perp to be acquitted or found not guilty.

Maybe the evidence found was the suspects jacket? or something.
 
If they have DNA they need someone to match it to.

That was the first thing that I thought of too. I think time is running out for the dirtbag. I hope he hasn't slept for days and is ready to confess.

Thanks Spellbound! I remember it being maybe the second press conference but I have not been able to find it either! Perhaps it was part of a newscast and not a press conference per se? I know which officer said it and I remember when he did he looked around at the other guys as he was saying It, as if to get confirmation that that is how they felt.

Before any one respectfully bites my head off about how this does not matter or help or concentrates on the morbidity of this tragic case, I only am trying to find this statement so that we can see where that other statement "stuff of nightmares.." came from. I know it has been pointed out that LE did not say those exact words but I think they alluded to that notion with a similar statement. I think it was implied and paraphrased by others. Regardless that sentiment seems to be the case.

And, it does possibly answer the question of why we cannot be privy to more conversation on the phone recording, although I am sure that everyone truly understands that by now anyway.
 
LE always said they had evidence and were fast-tracking it. They don't need new evidence.
