Bench trial (Blackburn) began on 9/19/2 & ended on 9/22/22. Bench trial began on 9/19/22 & ended on 9/22/22 with a guilty verdict (except for 1 count of murder & 1 count of robbery). Sentencing on 10/14/22 to 86 years in prison. Earliest possible release date: 5/20/2080
Rape: Trial set to begin on 11/21/22. New Judge for rape case is Jeffrey L. Marchal.

@Niner I checked yesterday and there was no live stream. They made a plea deal. I'll be happy to be done with this one.
One more of his victims will get justice. The way it looks, all the other 7 charges were dismissed. I hope they agreed upon the max number of years. There are no updates yet for his other 2 cases.

The Hernandez murder and the public indecency cases have been tracking with his Blackburn case. When they accepted the plea on the 17th, they changed his sentencing date to the 22nd and added that date to the other two cases.

I'm thinking of his victim today. I can't imagine the emotions she's feeling; I hope this brings her whatever she needs to heal.

Me too! Hopefully at the attorney conference they can get a deal - and yes - LWOP would be a good sentence for this guy...
