Robertson's public defender asked a judge to reduced her bail so she could be with family to mourn the recent death of her mother and deliver the twins she's currently pregnant with.
Doctors have told Robertson she'll need to deliver the wins by C-section in mid-January. She doesn't want to give birth alone while incarcerated.

"She doesn't deserve to be out of jail. She walked free for three and a half years knowing something about her daughter," said C.C. Hatton, an advocate for baby Amiah. "She failed to report her daughter for seven whole days as a missing person. No mother does that."

The state argued against the bond reduction, saying there was concern about Robertson being around newborn twins, plus her three other children who are all younger than 5 years old.

Three kids under the age of five, a missing baby that would be about three years old by now and pregnant with twins. I have no words.

AND she didn’t want to give birth while incarcerated. She doesn’t deserve any of those five little ones. MOO

@FrostedGlass - when you have time - does Lyons (last was on 12/21/22) or Robertson (last 12/29/22) have any updated court hearings coming up?

TIA! :)

No other dates yet for either of them, or his appeal.

@Niner His appeal atty has asked for and been granted an extension of the due date. I'm guessing the appeal is about his bond since this is stated in the motion:

2. On September 16, 2022, the trial court set Robert Lyons’ bond at $200,000, 10% surety with GPS monitorin
3. On October 07, the trial court held a bail review and set his bond at $150,000, 10% surety with GPS monitoring over the objection of Robert Lyons as excessive for a minimal flight risk.
4. The Notice of Appeal was filed on October 12, 2022.

Order
[1] Appellant has filed a Verified Petition for an Extension of Time Within Which to File Brief of the Appellant. [2] Having reviewed the matter, the Court finds and orders as follows: 1. Appellant’s Verified Petition for an Extension of Time Within Which to File Brief of the Appellant is granted. 2. Appellant’s Brief is due on January 18, 2023. Ordered: 1/5/2023

Neither one has any new dates. His appeal brief is due today, so I'll be checking for it.

Vine shows they are both still in custody. I wonder if she has given birth yet.
