Bite marks from the dog(s) or bite marks from Chadwell?
I had wondered and mentioned the same thing - we know dog bite for sure. In the PCA (Probable Cause Affidavit) there is no reference to him biting her, that I saw.

Good to know if his DNA is already in database it doesn’t mean it would’ve brought back a hit on other unsolved crimes (if those crimes don’t have a complete dna profile)

There is also the untested rape kit aspect, potential back log, need to check recent status/numbers.

-

Also, was he a Peeping Tom? Did he steal undergarments? Is he a flasher or one of those that you know what.

I know I mention some questions and points, things that may sound irrelevant (musical preferences, etc.), and people may think, “Pink Floyd, Who Cares...”, but there’s a reason I note and ask all these things, again you never know what could be important later. It is important to know what this maggot eats for breakfast.

So, in his court records iirc there is something for re: receiving stolen property. Do we know what that was all about?

There is sooooo much stuff here...it’s taking forever to get all this collected, noted, etc. I have barely even scratched the surface.

As others have surmised, maybe they’re keeping his FB up, because people are talking and could provide information, may know or recognize something....we know some people are inclined to post their tips on FB instead of calling it in...but I wonder when his SM will go poof. I do think they’re keeping it online on purpose..I am still racing to make sure everything notable is backed up - it’s a race against time.

If the unmatched DNA wasn’t human, would they know this?

Yes, absolutely. Humans have 23 pairs of chromosomes, other animals have different numbers. Dogs, for example, have 39.

is he impaired when he commits his criminal acts? there is a jeckyl/hyde aspect to him IMO. people say he is trying to "pretend to be nice" at times. a lot of his statements are about drinking or not drinking.

I feel like the chances of him being impaired during the vast majority of his criminal acts are very close to 100%.

JBC used "313" in his FB profile address and TikTok accounts. As I understand it, thats his bday (3/13).

<Modsnip>
And Outlaw is the name of one of his dogs. mOO.

I wonder if he wrote letters in prison. Was he into “letter writing”. Again, someone may read this and think why on earth is she asking all this...

These letters could hold clues. Also, the simple act of being into this type of communication might make him inclined to send letters...

Yes, I was wondering also if he had been drinking prior to the act - if I had to guess I’d say yes.

I’d also be interested in his recent drawings and paintings (with brain bleach of course).

That is great news on the habitual offender status. I was not sure what that would mean so thank you @zencompass for explaining.
On another note not sure if this really means anything or if it has already been posted but this link from his time in SD says he has an alias/nickname of Blue Chadwell. He has brown eyes so it's not that.
James B. Chadwell Inmate 3027: South Dakota Prisoner

maybe his nickname is “blue” because of the frequent crying?

ADMIN NOTE:

Members have been asked not to tie the Delphi case into this thread at this time. We know it's hard to do but you've all been doing pretty well so far. We've asked the same in the Delphi thread.

Obviously LE has now further peaked our interest in relation to a possible connection, but they stopped short of labelling anyone as a POI (as they have done in the past, and it seems to be the norm for LE these days).

Unless/until we open up the discussion to consider this monster as the perp for Delphi, please continue as you have been by not bringing Abby and Libby's case to this thread.

Everyone just hold tight. I've messaged Tricia and am waiting to hear back from her as to whether we can open this discussion up. Until then, it's status quo.

Thanks everyone.

Or maybe it’s because one of his pitbulls is “blue”. IDK. mOO.

Thank you very much for acknowledging that we’ve been doing pretty well so far. Lord knows we are trying. :D

Good thing we are good at talking in code haha.

I realize this is a lot of work, so thank you very much.

Thanks for the reminder, appreciate all you admins/mods for keeping things running smoothly!
It's so hard not to jump to a final conclusion but it'll be worth the wait when we someday find out who hurt Abbby & Libby. Praying it comes quickly <3

I don't care though if he was drinking..he will try to use that as an excuse...his poor choices, his problems with alcohol;...BARF.

Birds of a feather, I think he may have some creepy friends and associates.

I wonder if he met any molestors in the pen, with whom he stays in contact and shares child 🤬🤬🤬🤬. Jmo.

Of course. I think we all agree with that. No excuses, drunk or sober.

Police probe potential link between Lafayette man accused of attacking 9-year-old girl and Delphi murders

I hope this is not just bad reporting

“Carroll County Sheriff Tobe Leazenby said investigators had Chadwell on their radar in the Delphi case”

Wooooah, I hope it’s not bad reporting too. It could be...

He critiqued bars several times. Gave ratings whatever that site is.

I agree, and I also think he is likely in an unstable mood prior to his attacks, as well, like maybe during a relapse period. IDK.

I wonder if he was on any fishing forums. He did Kayak Fishing, line fishing, per his photos, iirc...maybe wade fishing...what about fly fishing. He also put some kayaks up for sale per his FB, iirc.

Bumping prior question, I haven’t seen any references to hunting (yet). Anyone else? Tia.

Note: What’s the closest Cabelas, he had a Cabelas hat on iirc.
