I think they decided to set a date on Wednesday. Since this is a holiday weekend, their schedules were tight.

Also - is there an "arrest" date for Jones & Jackson on Sanders' murder? I don't seem to have that date. Or were they already in jail for the Jackson murder? I have them "charged" on 1/29/19. TIA!

I think Wed is when they will agree to a sentencing date. They need time to get the pre-sentence investigation report done.

The Sanders murder came first; the news article is dated Nov 8...the charging date on the case is Nov 6, so there's a slight discrepancy. A news article announcing the Blackwell murders arrest is dated Jan 23 and the case was filed on Jan 25.

I don't think they knew who killed Sanders until Jones was arrested and told LE about it and the Family Dollar Robbery and the Blackwell murders.

I can go back through the cases to get the charging and filing dates for all 3 cases if you need them.

There is nothing in the court record regarding the sentencing date or a pre-sentencing hearing. It was just an informal discussion as to what day would probably work for all involved and they "thought" Wed would be ok.
