*Trial set to begin (Sanders case) (@ 1pm CT) – IN (under Javon Blackwell) - *Maurtreyviaum “Troy” Sanders (19) (Nov. 6, 2018, Marion) - *Demetrius Jemere Jackson (25/now 29) charged (1/29/19) with murder, conspiracy to commit armed robbery & armed robbery in connection with a death. Plead not guilty. Held without bond.
Blackwell murder found guilty sentenced to 120 years in prison. Earliest release date 1/21/2154.
Sanders’ Trial set to begin on 2/12/24.

9/25/23 Update: Order of trial continuance by Court. Jury trial originally scheduled on 9/25/23 was rescheduled on 2/12/24 at 1pm. Next pretrial conference hearing on 1/11/24 @ 8:30am.
1/11/24 Update: Next trial set to begin on 2/12/24.
*Lemere Joseph Jones (29/now 33) – Pretrial conference hearing on 4/18/24 & trial set to begin on 5/20/24.
