Westfield Police say 20-year-old Christian Haley was arrested for the murders.
His picture is in this article:

There had been a clustering of home invasions in that area.
Their slayings were among a serious of brutal home invasions that have struck residents of the metro area.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police have arrested at least 11 people suspected of being involved in a series of home invasions on Indianapolis Far Northside in October.
Not sure if this crime was part of those crimes, but it was included in the article.

If he (they?) were involved in these previous home invasions it seems very odd then to say that they had been targeted specifically b/c he was a former employee.
Did he not quite know where they lived and so all this was in an attempt to find them?
Did he do the others as a scare tactic?
Did he capitalize on the other invasions and think they'd assume it was related and that the murders might be lumped in with that and he'd get off free, perhaps?
Given the area and at least where they lived clearly being affluent, you'd think there would be A LOT of homes w/ video - or even at the entrance/exits of neighborhoods, etc.
Yet even saying that, they've also arrested at least 11 tied to other invasions. How big do they think this group is? The MO of many of those incidents seem to have involved multiple subjects in most of them and car thefts in several of them. Oddly, at least one of those was also a mother/daughter who were robbed/assaulted/had vehicles stolen.
Given that they're not saying how the guy who's picture they released (but isn't the one arrested today, only questioned) may be related, I wonder if they think this is still a much broader ring and while the Erbs were targeted - at least in part, specifically, it seems - I wonder if it may have just been added motivation?
And clearly that guy they released the still of is someone they had significant reason to suspect or they'd not have released that...and they say they've questioned him. I'm assuming they mean post-releasing that image? Otherwise wouldn't they have released his name and not just the image? Since obviously if they had interviewed him already they'd know his name...so they're apparently just not identifying him publicly now.
Interesting they're not saying he's NOT somehow related to the Erb murder. They're also clearly NOT saying he's fully cleared...of this or anything else...
Not discounting their police work:
"Westfield prides itself in being named one of the best places to live and one of the safest communities in the country. The fast acting police work over the past few days proves that Westfield employs some of the best police officers in the state and will continue to be one of the safest cities in Indiana and the country."
But with all these home invasions (and several that have been violent) I'm thinking they need to reevaluate their identity and what they're priding themselves on... This is months of these now.
