The hostages and missing families forum says the chief prosecutor of the International Criminal Court in The Hague, Karim Khan, is currently visiting Israel at the request of the families’ forum. During his visit Khan will meet with representatives of families of the hostages and victims of the October 7 events. The families’ forum: "We thank the chief prosecutor for responding to our request. During the visit, we would like to present to the prosecutor, directly through the families, the severe atrocities and serious crimes committed by Hamas terrorists against the citizens of Israel in the events of October 7.”

I also recall from the Israeli forensics lab videos that they specifically mentioned they are documenting each and every single detail of the atrocities endured by each victim for certain future purposes, not sure if it was Hague specifically, but something along those lines.

Would this be the three bodies expected today? Bet, so.
hamas is string everyone along. Israel has way more patience, than I.

If we are to believe HAMAS (very sketchy, but what else do we have but what they've said?) they have 3 soldiers dead and the mom and 2 children.. so 2 sets of 3 bodies maybe? I hope not, but if they do perhaps one set of 3 will be released today and this other mention of 3 bodies is the second set mentioned.

There is also an old Israeli hostage who died a few days ago.

The Israel Defense Forces says six Israeli hostages have been transferred by the Red Cross to Egypt via the Rafah crossing.

They will be brought to a meeting point where Israeli forces will verify their identities, before escorting them into Israel via a side gate at the Kerem Shalom crossing.

“The families of the hostages are being updated by IDF representatives with the latest available information,” the IDF says.

I was thinking about this last night, that it might take time to get information about this, as they have to conduct DNA tests…was wondering if they would use rapid DNA…and who knows what condition these bodies, or remains, may be in.

Also, they would need to notify families first, but yeah maybe a general announcement is still pending, something along the lines of we have received three bodies and are working to confirm their identities, or something like that.

I dunno...Pretty sure bodies would not be in the same group with live hostages.

They only have 15 minutes left until midnight, but who knows with bodies. They could be over there and still need ID'ing. Who knows..and who knows if it was even true....

Shani Goren was released from Hamas captivity this evening. Her sister told about the testimony of 12-year-old Eitan, who was also released this week: "Shani was Eitan's caregiver at the children's home in the kibbutz. He said that she took care of him in captivity - and kept some of her food to give him."

"Jerusalem shooting horror:

Man in his 70s and woman, 24,

are killed

and eight others are wounded when two attackers open fire on a bus stop before being 'neutralised'."

Another (unnamed) man also died. He was shot by IDF who misidentified him as an assailant when he was, in fact, trying to stop the terrorists.

I can't help but notice the different facial expressions. TOI says it is a screenshot from Egyptian television.

Think they're done with hostages for the day. For some reason, we don't know who the Russians are, but sounds like they were released without media coverage.

From Qatar's Foreign Ministry
In accordance with the terms of the 7th day of the humanitarian pause agreement, 30 Palestinians, will be released today in exchange for the release of 10 hostages in Gaza. The 2 Russian citizens released yesterday were counted on this list.

Oh wow. Maybe it's just America they don't allow dual citizenship for. A friend of ours is married to a woman from China. She was telling me at a get together we had that any children they have she would like to be Chinese citizens due to her family land and how things are passed down. She said they can not be dual citizens. I didn't realize that before then.

I figure maybe it would have helped get Noa released if she was a Chinese citizen.. I guess it didn't help. :(
I'm thinking that one of her parents originates from Hong Kong prior to 1997. China is no longer recognizing dual-citizenship for Chinese persons when their passports are due for renewal and are requiring them to declare one citizenship (foreign) or the other (Chinese). She is old enough that one of her parents may have been born prior to 1997 when Hong Kong reverted to Chinese territory.

They've really been ramping up this requirement over the past two years.

Regarding Noa…from the motorcycle kidnap video…have we heard anything about her at all? Her mom’s video is heartwrenching.

Wasn't she born in Beijing and therefore a Chinese citizen? Dual citizen I suppose?

I can’t recall China stepping up and demanding her release. Have I missed it, has it been done through diplomats, or just nothing from China at all?

If anyone knows.
Noa was born in Israel. Her mother is from China. Noa is an Israeli citizen.

These idiots have had 7 days.. well actually they've had 54 days now to "find" the other hostages. I call bull.. no deal. It's games and more games from HAMAS.
IMO,

Hamas has had a week now to restock up the food and water - ergo why they are "all out of prisoners to make exchanges with".

No need to 'suddenly find' anymore hostages or POWs until they need to restock up their food and fighting supplies once again. Then it will be, "Ceasefire now!!" we have found some more.

Terrorists are what terrorists do. They do what suits them.
