Over a quarter of Hamas officials hiding across Middle East - IDF​

Hamas leaders abroad spearhead terror activities against Israelis and other targets in Muslim countries as well as in Muslim communities in the West.​


The top political and diplomatic brass of the terror organization Hamas all live and operate outside of the Gaza Strip, the Military Intelligence Directorate said on Monday.

The IDF listed over a quarter of Hamas officials, including top official Ismail Haniyeh, as operating outside Gaza, including in Iran, Qatar, Lebanon, and Turkey.

Already, the Palestinian death toll passed 10,000, the Health Ministry in Hamas-run Gaza said Monday. The ministry does not distinguish between fighters and civilians. Some 1,400 Israelis have died, mostly civilians killed in the Oct. 7 incursion by Hamas that started the war.

The figures mark a grim milestone in what has quickly become the deadliest round of Israeli-Palestinian violence since Israel’s establishment 75 years ago, with no end in sight as Israel vows to remove Hamas from power and crush its military capabilities.

Somewhat convenient for the Hamas' Health Ministry to lump everyone together ?
Not to mention these figures cannot be verified.

Second bolded : What happens if they are not able to crush Hamas ?
Many other nations are directly or indirectly supporting Gaza.
Outside of verbal support (Israel is being pressured to ceasefire), there could be secret support provided to Hamas.

I've been familiar with Israel's history for years, long before this war began.
Asked about this before and edited it as it seemed depressing --- but is this history being made before our eyes, so to speak ?
Is it possible we could see Israel cease to be a nation ?
What then ?
There have been conflicts for decades in the middle east -- but this feels different !

Tbh, I've thought that Israel will never lose their nation in our lifetime.
It's like most of the world is bent on Israel's destruction with a rage that seems incomprehensible.

It is astonishing to me that news agencies continue to provide information from the Health Ministry. I understand that it may be the only source for some information. But it seems to me that responsible journalism would require that anytime they are quoted or their information stated, a disclaimed should be included stating "It is known that the Ministry of Health has in the recent past provided intentionally misleading information to the media."
 
Hamas in Lebanon is claiming Responsibility for 16 Long-Range Rockets which have been launched towards the City of Haifa and Northwestern Coastal Israel, however the Israel Defense Forces is reporting that at least 30 Rockets are now believed to have been launched and they have said previously that they will hold Hezbollah Responsible for any Attacks which Originate from Lebanon.

Tomer Sayag, showing dozens of rocket launchers his forces found inside a building used by the Palestinian Scout Association.Sayag says the empty rocket launchers were aimed at Ashkelon or central Israeli cities. Outside, some 50 rockets — bearing the logo of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad — were found in an underground storage site.Separately, the IDF releases a video of the 460th Armored Brigade locating a number of empty underground rocket launchers adjacent to a mosque in northern Gaza.
