yes, it might have been a victim's threadIs there another thread connected to him?
Because I distinctly remember reading about him.
I even posted there!
But where?
Buffalo Woman? Only if something is available known to hold her DNA. Her body has not been recovered.Could @othram help out with identifying this woman?
Hoping he can remember and reveal further details about Buffalo Woman..To Indigenous community members, police and the court system, she has become known as Mashkode Bizhiki’ikwe, or Buffalo Woman, a name that was gifted to her by a group of Indigenous grandmothers.
“Our community has adopted her. We wanted her to have a name and we wanted her to belong to a community,” said Thelma Morrisseau, who was part of the naming ceremony.
“She needs to be honoured and respected.”
Police released a few updates on their endeavours to identify Buffalo Woman. However, details of their exhaustive efforts were revealed this month during Skibicki’s trial, which is set to continue in June.
“(Skibicki) forcibly confined Buffalo Woman because he thought she was taking some of his things,” prosecutor Renee Lagimodiere said on the first day of the trial.
“(He) choked her, filled his bathtub with water. He then drowned her.”
Just want to be clear: LE do not have any of Buffalo Womans remains? They have Buffalo Womans DNA from the scene and also from the Baby Phat jacket?Hoping he can remember and reveal further details about Buffalo Woman..

Skibicki has a DV history. JMO but the number of victims indicates that these were not "spontaneous" crimes. He also admitted to using methamphetamine which does cause psychosis but that is not the same thing as being NCR AFAIK & IMHO.June 2 '24
''Bradford said it would be very difficult for someone to be found not criminally responsible, or NCR, in those types of killings. In all three of those cases, he found the accused weren't eligible, in part because of how much planning and organization went into their crimes.
"They have to find a victim. They have to persuade them and abduct them and, you know, they have to go to various means to do that. And then usually afterwards there's some disposition of the body in a way to avoid being arrested or being found guilty," Bradford said from Nova Scotia.
"All of that goes against … I'm generalizing, [but] when people are psychotic, they tend to be disorganized in what they do."
