KS - Zachary Garrett charged w attempting to sell 2 yr old for sex

A 22-year-old Kansas City, Kan., man was charged with multiple felonies Thursday for allegedly offering to provide a 2-year-old child for sex.

The investigation started in Springfield, Missouri several weeks ago Garrett was ultimately arrested in the 3300 block of North 59th Terrace in Kansas City, Kansas, according to the district attorney's office.

Zachary Taylor Garrett, 22, has been charged with attempted rape of a child under the age of 14.

Wyandotte County DA says man accused of attempted rape was offering his own daughter for sex


KANSAS CITY, Kan. – New details were released on Friday about a KCK man accused of offering up his 2-year-old daughter for sex. Prosecutors confirmed a man who’d moved to the city just a few weeks ago allegedly tried to sell his own toddler online for sex.

“How could anybody want to have sex or even offer for sale sex with a 2-year-old?” Wyandotte County District Attorney Jerome Gorman asked.
