Do you think the FBI involved is a good thing? Seems like once they enter we hear nothing. Anybody know just what part they are playing in finding Crystal?

I soooo worry about her five motherless children. Somebody did that to THEM. Somebody needs to be held ACCOUNTABLE.

Once in a while I have this hope that she was just fed up with all of it and took off leaving her car and her things. But not so much anymore.

I think somebody took her away from her children forever.

I'm glad that someone is involved that is not some way connected to either family. Hopefully this is making someone very nervous and they slip up. I feel awful for her kids :(

Although I don't know if this search is related to the disappearance of Crystal, Lexington police are searching the Kentucky River for a body due to a vague tip they received.

also, although I know her purse, keys, cell phone and diaper bag were found in her car when it was discovered on the Bluegrass Parkway, does anyone know if the little guy's car seat was also located in the car. TIA

I wonder what 'vague' would mean? Strange wording to me IMO. UNLESS, police just do not to draw too much attention to it and are onto something. That is an hour drive from Bardstown correct?

I don't believe the carseat has been mentioned. Very possible both vehicles had them.

As far as I know. the car seat has never been mentioned as being found in her car. Looks like it would have been in there though. Don't most families with 2 cars have a car seat in each car?

I don't know? We had one and moved it from car to car.

My hubby and I had 1 in each car for our oldest. For our second child we only have 1 seat that goes back and forth, and what a pain it is! Lol

it would certainly be interesting to hear whether the car seat was found in the Impala on the Parkway and equally interesting to know whether Brooks and Crystal each had a car seat in their respective vehicles.

If there was only one car seat, was it in Impala when found or not? If there were two, was one still in the Impala? If not, why and where is the car seat?
IF the current search is relevant, Google tells me the trip from Bardstown to the Kentucky River is 1 hour give or take a couple of minutes. Certainly enough time for a two year old to fall asleep in the vehicle, perhaps under the pretense of attending a firework show in Lexington that night? A short drive but far enough from the Nelson County area to instill the confidence that either she will never be found or that if she is, it can never be attributed to him? I am a Lexington native and sadly many a body has been dumped in the river.
I so wish we had an insider who could inquire with the Ballard family regarding the car seat.

We had one for each car. She's older now but we still keep a booster seat in each so we don't have to mess with moving them around. I think I asked already but does anyone know if BH has another car besides the work truck?

$$$ Talks! IMO - If there was a mega-$ reward for info that leads to discovering CR (like there was with the two 14 year old teens in Florida) - someone just might open up. ps - I don't know who, but it certainly would keep attention on the search. I did notice that the natural father is trying to raise money thru ? not sure where I saw that, but I think the money needs to be raised thru the roof as a reward. (Yes, I know there is some relatively small amount now - forget how much), but I'm talking in the 100K range. IMO IMO IMO

Rewards don't work, Imo. Or only if eventually paid to the person who happens to find a body.
