Four weeks later, a family is still searching for their missing loved one in Butler County.

• Dana Cardwell Jr., 54, was last seen on Sunday, January 2 at his home on McKendree Chapel Road in Butler County around 8:00 a.m.
• He is 5 foot 9 inches tall, with brown hair and blue eyes.
• Dana weighs 160 pounds and was last seen wearing black jeans and a red hoodie.

“We would love for you to come home, but you’re out there, just let us know that you’re okay but if you’re not okay, we will always look for you,” WS [Dana's daughter] said.

Body of Butler Co. man missing since early January found | K105

The body of 54-year-old Dana Cardwell Jr. was found Monday in a pond on Big Oak Lane, according to Beech Tree News, about three miles north of Morgantown off Hwy 70. [Snip] ,...the preliminary autopsy results indicating Cardwell died of hypothermia.

Dana Cardwell “Jr.”, age 54, of Morgantown passed away on Monday, Feb. 21, 2022. He was born in Warren Co., Ky. on Nov. 14, 1967. Jr. was a drywall hanger. He loved hunting, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.
