It's been 10 years, but life is still a struggle for Frieda Cox.
She's still not sure exactly what happened on Dec. 16, 1995, but she knows her daughter wasn't killed - she was murdered.
On that day, Cox's 16-year-old daughter Karen was killed in a collision on U.S. 68.
Danny R. Tungate, then 19, was driving Karen's Oldsmobile, Cox said, when the collision occurred. Karen was a passenger.
Tungate had a blood alcohol level of .24, Cox said, much higher than the legal limit of .08.
Cox said she's spent the past decade trying to find out why her daughter was in the car with Tungate. Visiting many counselors and even a psychic, Cox still hasn't been able to put the pieces of the puzzle together.
