There's another news story from near my place in Kentucky that is just as stupid. It made me think about this thread.

Some guy claims that he "accidentally" sodomized an 8-y/o boy because he was tired and thought it was his girlfriend.

He allegedly told officers he had been asleep and thought the boy was his girlfriend.

When confronted with the allegations, Wilson allegedly told police that he had "accidentally" engaged in a sex act with the boy, claiming that he was asleep and had mistaken the boy for his girlfriend.


Wilson was arrested and charged with first-degree sodomy of a victim under 12 years of age.

Circumstances of Recovery: Skeletal remains were in possession of an individual who claims they were hiding stolen artifacts. Two mandibles also recovered.

Apparently it is legal to own human bones... eBay even allowed the sale of such until July of 2016......

Do they know whose storage unit they broke into? That could possibly give them a roundabout idea of where the original “owner” of the bones got ahold of them.

Would “regular” DNA testing do much to help find out who the bones truly originally belonged to?
If the bones went into the market due to grave robbers, relatives wouldn’t even have any reason to think to submit DNA samples. They likely assume that their late relative is resting peacefully outside the church down the road. With no reason to suspect otherwise.

If the people that had them in their storage unit somehow ordered them online or via any kind of mail-order, they could’ve had come from anywhere. ANYWHERE. Any place or any time. Are those people even still around?
