All of those profiles had his pictures, so it wasn't a different BSL, but it might just be how he claimed to "work for the state" while being imprisoned, ha.

That's what I was thinking. IMO I don't think he would have been allowed out of the prison 2005/6 at the earliest so I was just focusing on possible schools for that time.

'Imo, BSL will prove to be a very calculating sadistical psychopathic serial killer with no victim profile, only a preference. Interesting stuff on his LinkedIn page. Interesting to see that Steve Bajat, who is the lead detective on the MS case viewed his page, also curious why an attorney at PR would go and look...if I am reading it right.

Also, I would be curious to know if BSL ever participated in a work release program while he was incarcerated. Sith all of the prison overcrowding there are many programs like that for inmates.

Military record-AWOL after 3 years..BSL, did not fit in and yet was a soldier on a perpetual mission-imo, had a kindle and studied serial killers prior. He was a hunter- a hunter of humans-a soldier on a perpetual mission-he would abort the mission if there were complications- BSL was an emulator-MO varied due to escalation-very experienced with many victims. No stranger to the game..There will be a direct or indirect drug/meth connection..
His victim total will be many, imo..BSL has been active for over a decade and has escalated-dilusional due to the obvious display of remorse...

I wish the husband of BSL 1999 victim would come back here so we could ask if they participated in any parole hearings. They could possibly give us some insight into the climate surrounding his incarceration. If they participated in a parole hearing they would have heard other people speak up for him and possible know when he was released or when he did work release.

I don't think so. He said BSL was out for a year before they found out!
They were never TOLD he had been released.

In the brutal bayou video of the Jennings Serial Killer, it was mentioned that it was as if the SK was trying to implicate LEs involvement, due to the body disposal location next to the firing range of law enforcement. Who would want to implicate law enforcement? I would guess, someone with a vendetta...

Imo, there needs to be transparency...

It's actually kind of scary how much information that site has about him. And that's just in the "preview" section.

They would need to get an indictment, I believe, before they could charge him with anything new. I think it will all be very perfunctory tomorrow, the charges read out, the plea of "Not Guilty" and he will be bound over for trial. JMO

I agree it probably will be short sweet all of a couple of minutes unless there are some formalities that must be done. I don't imagine this will be long or much information will come out of it.

JMHO..

What amazes me is that BSL bent over backwards to hide his RSO status, tried to have it removed three times, blamed his crimes on others, made his LinkedIn profile and mylife to look like he was working for the State of LA while incarcerated, etc., but continued his nefarious behavior. He obviously knew his actions were wrong, but didn't have the self-restraint to stop. It is a sad story, especially for Mickey, Lisa and his other victims who were on the receiving end.:twocents:

I'm not sure, but I think that there can be varying degrees of parole-like situations. Not really a parole but transferred to correctional centers with programs that are focused on making a transition into the community. The parole board can make all kinds of recommendations.

No I have felt for long time that he was probably out in the community working.

If you add the training, work related abilities, reintroduction within the community, it is truly possile that he was leaving quite early.

As well remember that many prisons are over crowded.

ETA The other thing here would be the destruction of Katrina. I would think that many prisoners were utilized during that time.
