For clarification purposes, I will be referring to the four pictures posted on 5/26 as pictures 1-4 as they are numbered. I will refer to the three pictures posted on 5/25 as 5, 6, and 7 in the order they are shown.

The truck in pictures 1 and 6 is the same truck. Picture #6 was taken at the circle k shortly after Mickey passed. Picture #1 was taken shortly after picture #6 after the truck turned onto University Ave heading west/north. The police have said they believe this truck is a GMC.

The truck in picture 2 is a stand-alone picture. This is the only image of it we have seen. The police have said they believe this is a Chevy Z71.

The car in pictures 3 and 4 is the same car. Picture 3 is taken when the car is heading south/east on University Ave approaching the circle k. Picture 4 is taken on St. Landry street in the direction Mickey and the truck from picture 2 were seen heading. The police have said this car has body damage on the right rear quarter-panel and they think its an 80s-90s GM model. A posted here, Chicken Fried, believes this car is a late 70s-early 80s Oldsmobile.

Mickey is seen in pictures 5 and 7, with picture 5 being the last time she was seen on camera.

Since these images aren't time-stamped, we can't make any additional assertions on their order. I'd guess that the circle k photos go Mickey (picture #5), truck traveling her direction (picture #2), and lastly truck in left turning lane (picture #6). I assume this because its noted the truck traveling her direction was behind her, and there is an additional car in the gas station in picture #6 with someone who seems to be going inside, likely to pay.

During the PC yesterday I saw an old buddy of mine (the cop with blonde) standing right next to the one speaking. I guess he is working the case also. But not like he would tell me anything.

Just an FYI, I don't believe Canine would hit on Mickey unless the windows were open, or she was out of the vehicle also.

Canines also don't track, if the person enters a vehicle with the windows closed, but there have been cases of dogs tracking all the way, if the windows were open.

This is just one story and it is about Yogi. These dogs if trained properly can be and are amazing.

Is it ok to post a complete theory? I have very strong feelings about the perp, motive and Mickey's current state but I do not want to be inappropriate or unhelpful. I'm not nor do I claim any who-do voodoo psychic business. But my intuition has always been incredibly sharp and generally spot on. If we're just talking specific facts I'll keep it to myself but it's a theory I haven't heard mentioned much if at all..I've gone through the threads as best I could but I'm on my phone and it's being a spaz...lol..I skimmed 1-5, read 6-7 and skimmed 8,9 and 10 so I think I'm current on pics, facts etc. thanks for any input in addition to a GIANT thank you to all of the participants of this thread from another Lafayette lady

Any information in any interviews from workers/patrons at Artmosphere the night Mickey was there? Is it at all possible she cut through to Johnston st. and and went back to Artmosphere to meet someone? Probably no cameras at Artmosphere?

Doubt she went back there after BW's house.

She was seen on camera at Artmosphere with her friends, but I think the camera was just there to video the band(s).

paris_paris found what looks like the Olds on Google maps, satellite view!!!!

It's a close enough match that I'm driving up there right now. Looks like an Olds 98 grille.

And, the house owner has several cars being worked on AND, it looks like he/she has a boat, as well.

Rough section of town - I'm going to be careful. Have experience with the Census approaching strange houses/people.

But it's to good a match not to check it out in person, ASAP.

I think we can post theories if not too out there and can be somewhat supported by facts.

Well, they likely are trying to decide how good our ID is, and maybe are consulting the police about before putting it up. I don't blame them.

1. Either the police are PURPOSELY withholding ID of the car, or disagree with the ID. If it's the former, well that's their call. But if so, I don't understand the value of purposely misleading the public, maybe so as not to spook the suspect. Seems to me if that were so they would never have released the photos of the car. Plus, Cpl. Mouton said that the public would be the one finding the car...... sooo..... if they want public help, why not make it as easy as possible to find the car.

2. If they just disagree with the ID, they need to call me and go over it point by point, using the contact info I gave, because it's been 2 days since I called with the ID, and if they want a solid ID on the car, they need to come up with a car that matches better. I have been unable to do so myself.

In summary, if the delay in properly ID-ing the car is purposeful and they AGREE with the ID, then that's their call.

But if they disagree with the ID as an Olds 98, and the ID is correct, then I have a problem with their preventing a proper ID being spread to the public. Bottom line, seems to me the police owe the public a better description than "'80s-'90s GM." That hugely increases the number of possible cars, and make the public's "job," given them by Cpl. Mouton yesterday at the presser, that much harder and slower.... all the while as time ticks by.

I agree, chicken fried, timely & accurate info is critical for the public's help.
I followed 3 SKs & one Spree killer's investigations in various states. Once the make/model/color of their vehicle was released to MSM, they were all arrested or killed by LE within/24/36 hours due to a tip.

'The one common denominator is that no more innocent victims lost their lives once this info was released'.

In the recent Bains family abduction & murder(TN/MS), LE said Adam Mayes/perp was on foot. NG or JVM, released his vehicle description and he was located(suicide) and the Bain sisters rescued within 36 hours due to a citizen's tip..

be careful. hope you have a bat or gun or something. even if it's not the perp, it's dangerous to drive slowly about in bad sections of town. gangs etc.

Y'all look at the backyard of the house on the <modsnip>, Lafayette, LA, on Google Maps, satellite version.

That's where I'm going right now. You see what looks a lot like the Olds, and a boat under a tarp.

Look on Google EARTH, and the tarps on the ground and the Olds-looking car AND the boat are missing.

i wonder if that Olds has a trailer hitch?
