Found Deceased LA - Shamia Little, 17, Shreveport, 07 July 2021 *endangered*

This is what I'm wondering too. You would think they would share some type of description of the suspect. I sure hope there's something that LE is doing behind the scenes that we don't know about. I'm very worried for this girl.
Quoting myself to say that hearing she is relatively new to this area makes me wonder if she could have possibly wanted to go back to her previous area. Gosh I hope it could be as simple as that.......

I have issues with his shoes being found there. Why? Nothing from her but his shoes are there? If they were fooling around or whatever ( just thinking as to why shoes are off in the woods) and the only thing were his shoes and nothing that belonged to her? He ran to a police officer ( did he have shoes???) Where's her stuff? Why nothing there from her? At Gun Point! IMO

I've run my way out of flip-flops/sandles before. I've also been tripped by my own flip-flops while trying NOT to run out of them.

As far as the witness not banging on doors at nearby houses - It's possible he lived just beyond where he noticed the officer in the parking lot.

Just some thoughts. I still think there's something wonky about the whole scenario.

Ive thought he could have possibly ran out of a pair of slides or even a pair of Crocs.

Its widely known about the security features of theiPhone, and high end cell phones overall. It baffles my mind that someone would rob someone at gunpoint specifically for their phones. Since there was no mention of it, I presume cash or other belongings were not demanded by this supposed gunman. If this robbery of cellphones actually took place, then I'm inclined to believe cell phones were targeted for disposal, not for their value. Someone who pulls an armed robbery for phones, then decides to escort the victims of his robbery to another location, not to mention possible kidnapping? No, I'm sold on there being much more to this robbery angle, if it happened at all.

I really don't understand why he took their cell phones. Obviously, he knew he could've been tracked by that so I assume he just disposed of it later on. Another thing that baffles me is why did he let the witness go if he planned to keep Shamia with him in the first place? And why didn't they release a description of him provided by the witness? I don't think this is a simple case of robbery. And what for even? Locked cell phones?
This whole scenario seems really suspicious to me.

I don't think so, I had been wondering the same thing. The two places aren't really that far from each other though, the park and the school, some 800 ft I think

The two places appear to be across the street from one another. I was just curious why take the police there when the park is literally right there.

Female’s body found in field in Shreveport

There’s a lot of info in this article.

To Note:
•A body was found at Curtis Lane between Greenwood Road and Pro Street at 2:36 p.m. Monday, July 12.
•discovery of the body drew a large police presence in the area of Putman Restoration the 4100 block of Curtis Lane. That’s about 1,500 feet north of Interstate 20.
•The body was found in a field behind that business
•Shamia was seen last week on the opposite side of I-20 and less than a half mile southeast of where Monday’s discovery was made.
•At this time, there has been absolutely no indication that today’s discovery is related to the disappearance of Shamia Little.
•KSLA News 12 learned later Monday evening that police have put up crime scene tape around a home on Gloria Street. That’s adjacent to Doug Williams Park, which police have been told is where Little reportedly was abducted at gunpoint.
