I'm late to this, but just watched Lawyer Lee's excellent recap of the art fraud part of this case. I recommend.
Her review makes me wonder how Anna could not have known about the art fraud and the money. Her accounts were used to try to sell the Warhol forgeries. How could she not have known?

If she knew, she may have been complicit. Why escape to Washington DC? Just for the job? I wonder if she was planning to escape Brian with a lover Fastow, hopefully extract herself from the legal situation in Massachusetts, perhaps even with a delusion that she'd be able to access the money or the originals. Did Anna know where the original Warhols were? And, was that a reason Brian wanted to kill her? Still, nobody knows where the originals are, except Brian.

I'm not aware of any evidence that Ana knew at the time of the sale that the artworks were forgeries and not the originals he took from South Korea.

He could have sold the originals before he and Ana were married. One lot of forgeries were painted from photographs, according to Lee.

Do you know if the victim impact statements will be aired ?

During trial, we learned that there was a Motion to impound the victim impact statements to protect the minor children, but there was no ruling on the Motion. I guess we'll learn on Thursday. More specifically, requests for the Motion by the CW were from DCFS on behalf of the minor children's impact statements, and by Ana's family who made reference to the children in their statements.

*Sentencing Hearing (@ 9am ET) - MA - Ana Walshe (39) was last seen at her home in Cohasset shortly after midnight on New Year’s Day, Jan. 1, 2023, according to her husband. She was reported missing Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2023 from her employer in Washington D.C. - *Brian Reza Walshe (47/now 50) arrested (1/8/23), charged & arraigned (1/9/23) with intimidation/ misleading police during the investigation into his wife's disappearance. Bond $5M Surety/$500K Cash. Plead not guilty (1/9/23). [See below for NEW charges]. Quincy DC in Mass Court/moved to Norfolk Superior Court
*Re-Charged (1/17/23) & arraigned (1/18/23) with murder, assault to beat Ana with intent to murder & improper transport of body. Plead not guilty. Held without bond pending indictment. Held in Norfolk County Correctional Center.
*Indicted (3/30/23), re-charged & arraigned (4/27/23) with 1st degree murder, for misleading a police investigation/ obstruction of justice [plead guilty] & for the improper conveyance of a human body [plead guilty]. Plead not guilty to all charges (4/7/23). Held without Bond.
On 11/18/25 plead guilty to intimidation/misleading police & improper conveyance [transport] of body & admitted dismembering Ana. Norfolk Superior Court
Jury Selection began on 11/18/25 & ended on 11/20/25. 12 jurors [6 women & 6 men; alternates: 3 women & 1 man].
Prosecutors rested their case on 12/10/25. Defense started & ended their case on 12/11/25 calling no witnesses.
Jury Trial began on 12/1/25 & ended on 12/12/25 with closing arguments by Anna Yas & defense attorney Larry Tipton.
Jury started deliberations on 12/12/25: ~12:25pm to ~4:15pm [3 hours 40 minutes]. 12/15/25: ~9:40am to ~11:45am [2 hours 5 minutes.
Total deliberations: 5 hours & 45 minutes. Verdict: GUILTY of murder in the 1st degree.
Victim impact statements on 12/17/25. Sentencing hearing on 12/18/25 @ 9am.
Sentencing for the guilty pleas will be after murder trial per Judge Feniere’s ruling on 12/4/25.

12/16/25 Update: Brian’s sentencing, was originally scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 17, but the Norfolk Superior Court postponed it until 9am on Thursday, 12/18/25. On 12/17/25 will be the victim impact statements hearing.

I think sentencing may have been postponed by one day because Judge Freniere was waiting for a statement from DCF. I think this was important to her, and I see sentencing continuing as scheduled.

Since the DCF will be making a statement per Carol Erskine's tweet (and not the guardian, advocate, or foster care party), I don't think they will need a hearing to discuss impounding any statement by a minor. The Children are under the powers of DCF, so they are making a statement as the Agent (power to seal). JMO

Lawyer Lee touched on the fact that MA is considering a bill that will change the wording in Murder in the 1st degree cases with re: life without the possibility of parole.

That is interesting and I will be watching to see if this bill passes. Life without the possibility of parole to possible parole after a minimum of 35 years served. Very interesting IMO.
