I just read the AMW page about the UID. This most likely isn't Debra because there was a 2002 coin in the pocket of the UID.....Debra went missing in 2000. So unless she was alive for 2 years after disappearing this isn't her. I wish they put the thing about the coin on the doenet page instead of saying it's someone who could have died 3 months to 5 years prior.
 
I just saw a "new" older case on Charleyproject this morning. She has many similarities with this doe, but I don't know about the "racial" aspect. She's listed as mere "caucasian" and there weren't any details about her dentals.

She was already in NamUs when Charley Project added her case.

I ran across this case while looking for possibles for a newly listed NamUs MP, and decided to run a check again for possibles on this UID case.

This woman has not been mentioned here, but her facial shape is absolutely identical to that of this UID.

Neither the UID, nor the MP are in NamUs.

* Her height (63 inches) is within range.
* Her age (42) is a little high, but not too far out of line.
* The timeframe (4 years from Sep'01 to Oct'05) is about right (up to 5 years pm interval).
* The distance from the Bronx to Dorchester MA is about 200 miles. Not excessive, especially considering her deteriorating mental state.
* A black woman with a Hispanic maiden name might be suggestive of a mixed ancestry (as is described of the UID) and possibly a Caribbean background (as speculated based on the dental work).

The big question marks are: Did she wear partial dentures? and Does she have a history of childbirth?

So I created a NamUs MP casefile for Ms. Castro-Holiday, and sent an e-mail to Lori Bruski, suggesting that she contact Boston PD to try to get this UID case entered into NamUs for comparison to Ms. Castro-Holiday.

Thank you! The UID was found not too far from where I live and I've always been interested in this case. Hopefully, this moves her closer to being identified.

Genieve Castro-Holiday is not an active missing person case anymore so I will be archiving the case to reflect this. The Mass ME’s office is working on getting the unidentified case in the system so that will still happen.

BBM Melanie Ruth Camilini's remains have been found. Her murder is part of a serial killer investigation in Connecticut. I didn't know where else to post this.

One of the newly discovered victims has been identified as Melanie Ruth Camilini, a mother of two from Seymour, who was last seen in Waterbury in 2003. Authorities said they are still attempting to identify the others.

Huh. The clothing listed on her NamUs page says "Jolie inmates beige panties"...I wonder if they meant Jolie Intimates or if she was in jail

Remarks: The woman had a partial dental plate and reconstructed porcelain teeth. She wore Cherokee brand denim stretch pants (12A), Jolie Intimates beige panties (M), white socks, and had red plastic fingernails.

Details: On October 14, 2005, the skeletal remains of a female were discovered in a chimney at an apartment complex in Dorchester, Massachusetts. The chimney was used as an incinerator in the 1960s, but was out of commission since and blocked by an air conditioning unit. Upon examination, the victim was believed to have been born between 1965-1980 and was described as being of small to medium build, with dark brown hair past shoulder length. The victim was believed to be of mixed ethnicity, with no scars, tattoos, or broken bones, and had born a child(ren). The victim had significant dental work, to include a distinctive dental plate that may have been constructed in a Caribbean nation or in the Northeastern United States by a dentist with training in the Caribbean. Based on forensic genealogy, the victim’s ancestry resolves back to Brazil as a place of origin.
