MD MD - Billy/Billie Jean Hall, 24, Jessup, 28 Feb 1985

Things are listed wrong for Billie Jean as her height and weight. She was not quite 5 foot tall and her hair was long and blonde. I can sent pictures of her along with a picture of her vehicle if someone would like. She also did not have breast implants. I grew up with her and are families are still close today. There is no way to post pictures on here.

Thanks so much for this. That's such a shame that the info on her profiles might not be totally accurate and how that might have hindered finding out what happened to her :(

There is a recent new thread on here http://www.websleuths.com/forums/sh...-backbone-rib-fracture-Seagram-s-Tee-March-86 about a JD found in NC that I think could be a fit with Billie.
https://www.identifyus.org/en/cases/2234

Here's why:

Height - Billie was 5 foot 3 to JD's 5 foot 4 as reported in news article http://www.rockymounttelegram.com/News/2017/06/25/Few-clues-to-identity-of-remains.html
Hair - Billie reported as medium blonde but pic on Charley Project looks reddish brown to me and one pic shows her with it curled as per description of JD.
Location - Billie was travelling in between Maryland and Florida - with a side trip to Georgia - NC is a very possible place for her to have been passing through
Physical injuries - Billie had extensive physical injuries from a previous car accident, possible that she had a back injury that is not listed as per JD's injury.
Clothing - not reported but Billie was travelling to a biker convention - the black Seagrams whiskey branded tshirt and black jeans that the JD was found in seems a good fit.

I'm going to go ahead and submit this but would love to hear any thoughts from those of you who know Billie's case well.

SunnyNZ,

I think UID 2234 will probably not be Billie Jean, as they state all parts were recovered, but there was no mention of the surgical holes that would be evident in Billie Jean's skull.

Thanks, that's a very good point. I did submit it so will let you all know what I hear back.

Details of Disappearance

Hall departed from Jessup, Maryland on February 28, 1985. She and a friend were going to drive Hall's camper to Daytona Beach, Florida to attend a biker convention. Some reports state the camper was a Nissan or Datsun model; others say it was a 1984 Marago. Hall planned to return to Maryland in two weeks.

Hall and her companion reportedly met a man named "Aubrey" in Virginia, and the three then traveled to Brunswick, Georgia. Hall's friend then got into a disagreement with her and left, returning to Maryland on March 3.

Hall never came back to Maryland. She was reported missing after she failed to contact her loved ones within four weeks after her initial departure. Authorities discovered her credit card was used multiple times in Daytona Beach, but not by Hall. A male person was using the cards.

In August 1985, the camper turned up in Aubrey's possession in Cameron, Oklahoma. He said he and Hall arrived in Daytona Beach together and she left with someone else and never came back, so he took the camper. He was charged with theft.

Foul play is suspected in Hall's case, which remains unsolved. Maryland authorities are handling her investigation.
