WATERVILLE — A candlelight vigil for missing 20-month-old Ayla Reynolds will be held at 4:30 p.m. today on the front steps of First Congregational Church, UCC, on Eustis Parkway.

There was really no new information released. Police chief said the reason why Dumpsters were searched was because it was logical. Joseph Massey said they are treating this as a missing child case.

She has a nine month old baby ... sigh.

According to Trista's step-sister, the missing girl had recently broken her arm at her father's house and had begun showing bruises on her skin, the Morning Sentinel reported.

And, yet, the state gave him custody.

Jesus.

WATERVILLE, Maine (AP) — As the FBI stepped up its efforts to find a 20-month-old girl who disappeared from her father’s home over the weekend, investigators combed through trash bins, drained a stream and pored over more than 100 leads offered by the public.

Four truck drivers inspected all trash receptacles owned by the company — nearly 600 in all — on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Their inspections included ripping open every trash bag for a close look at the contents.

“We searched every can that we dumped, and every load that has gone to the landfill has been searched as well,” he said.
