LEWISTON, Maine — A Lewiston man convicted of stalking in April was arrested late Thursday night and charged with murder in connection with the death of a Lewiston woman missing since July.

A missing Lewiston woman who advertised escort services on Backpage.com was killed on July 1 by the brother of her madam, according to the police affidavit filed in the arrest of Buddy Robinson.

Police arrested and charged Robinson, 30, of Lewiston late last week with murder in the death of Christiana Melusine Fesmire, 22, after conducting a lengthy investigation that included an undercover prostitution probe involving Fesmire, Brandi Robinson and a woman from Canada who admitted to engaging in prostitution using Backpage.

FESMIRE — Christiana, 22, died July 1. A memorial service for Christiana will be held on her birthday, Saturday, Dec. 17, at 3 p.m. at the Damariscotta Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Christiana’s memory to the Christiana Fesmire Foundation for Missing Children and Adults in Maine, c/o Bath Savings Institution, P.O. Box 339, Damariscotta, ME 04543. Arrangements are under the direction and care of the Strong-Hancock Funeral Home, 612 Main St., Damariscotta.

AUBURN — The blood spattered on the bathroom door and under a radiator in the apartment in which Christiana Fesmire lived on Highland Avenue in Lewiston matched the DNA profile taken from her two toothbrushes and her hairbrush, a Maine Crime Lab DNA forensics analyst testified Wednesday.

Is anyone aware of ANY way that Christiana can be recovered? Is it unlikely anyone will search for her without a location from the man who killed her?

If you have any clues as to where to begin to search, I am fairly local..... Other than that, it is unfortunate but we must wait.

No clues, I mean, I watched an episode of ID where a young woman went missing in Maine and an agency did a thing (I'm not articulate at all) where they could basically get a good idea of where a victim may be based on locations visited by the perp. So that makes me wonder if that sort of thing could help, but I didn't even know C had been hanging around the people she was so I would have absolutely no insight at all except that she was the most beautiful girl I've ever known.


I prayed for her body to be found before the first snow..... Now I'm just praying she is found at all! My fear was would make a deal for a lesser sentence for her location. Now my fear is we will never have her back with her family.

This may be an unpopular choice, but I think I want to bring her to the front page every few months so people can see her face and name. Would that be too obnoxious? We can ask our administrators for that....the family concerns (protection) from more <negative> publicity are a true reason to hesitate. Let's think on that one.

While searching for any updates about this case online today, i was googling different search terms with Christiana's name. I came across something very odd. It was a link to a photobucket account, which was open and not private, there was an album titled "Christiana Fesmire" and in the album contained photos of a small pond in what appeared to be late fall/early winter...further through the album were what appeared to be clothing half buried in leaves, and also a medical latex glove. The album gave no descriptions, to background info, or for what purpose the photos where in there. I got a really eerie feeling from it. And Im not too sure about what to do with it or how i should interpret it.
